Adoption is an amazing thing!

"By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary. They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared."Author unknown

Another post from me today! Couldn't resist a sneaky peak for yall! SHIRTS!

I am so excited!  Mana T's made some amazing T-Shirts for us for our trip! :)  And one of them was a surprise, the others I knew about!  The last came today!  I just had to give yall my wonderful bloggie friends a sneak peak! These are the shirts we will wear on the airplane trip!  Those of you who were around for Noah's Journey know how Bobby and I wore shirts on the plane last time :) and Celeste had one she wore here :)  I can't tell you the questions and comments we got then! :)  I am thinkin the same will happen this time too.  Sooo tell me what you think!!!!
This is the design on the shirts! :)  Bobby, Celeste, Noah and I all have one! ;)  We knew about these :)  I did not know they had changed to the newest picture, the last time I saw it was with an older shot of Jeremiah I had given them. But they updated it :)

They added this surprise to the box today that we did NOT know was coming!

This design on a little shirt for Jeremiah!!! :)  He has a matching shirt but of course his says I'm Jeremiah instead of We're coming to Getcha Jeremiah like ours!  and his done not say Gotcha Day June 7, 2010 like ours but I love it and was so suprised!!! :)  I can't wait to see them on us all! :)

Here is a shot of all of the shirts together :)

Hang on sweet frogie boy!  We are getting closer and closer!  Mommy is having fun gathering up all the matching outfits I have for you and your big brother Noah! :)  I am tryin to make everything as perfect for you as I can sweet man! :)  It is feeling more and more real to me little guy, I am really going to have the most amazing blessing of being your mommy!  God chose us for you! :)  I can't tell you how happy that makes me!
I love you with all my heart baby boy!  Hold on tight to Jesus finger baby and as your rest catch my kissses coming to you in the wind!

I NEED YOUR ADVICE! HELP advise needed...travel etc.

So, I am OVERWHELMED here!  Overwhelmed with getting house ready for Jeremiah, everything ready for the trip, still fundraising left and right, and and and.  I am STRESSING but TRYING not too!  I am worrying about packing and how to do it and what carryons are ok and and and.

Soo basically, If you have travled to Taiwan for Adoption, if you have traveled anywhere for Adoption for that matter if you travel period PLEASE send me your advise!

The way our flights worked we are taking a separate domestic flight that is NOT connected to our International flight, the only big issue with doing it that way is PRAYING we can make the connection and all, and Baggage.  We have to pay $25 EACH WAY PER BAG!  I am like whatever gets checked needs to be the maximum 50 lbs weight so if we are paying it is worth it!  It is freaking me out, how much is it gonna cost.  So my resolve is to get as much in the carryons for each of us as I possibly can, BUT Eva only allows 15 lbs per carryon!  plus a personal item each and I have no clue how big that can be but being in economy this time and not economy plus I worry there won't be room and I know the site says it has to fit in the bin or under seat.  Last  time we took bags that were called carryon and had a handle with wheels.  There was a way to connect them then to our big suitcases and so we were able to wheel where we went, but once added Noah and the stroller it was much harder.  This time we add Jeremiah and Noah and a double stroller so we are really going to need wheels.  BUT I worry about how much I can get in there for the weight with the wheels and bar and all.  And last time on the first flight they almost made us check the carryon, but this time we ar ento traveling from our town, but driving to Dallas and starting there.  that might help as for the complaints.  can you tell last time was my FIRST and only flight experience!

I am not sure why I am posting other than hopes yall will have some advise for me that will help and make it all less scary, or maybe at least not feel alone in it all!  LOL

Lots to get done so I best scoot.  Sends me your amazing words of wisdom!  And while you are at it any taiwan specific tips for Taipei and Tainan would be great too :)

In the midst of it all...My beautiful amazing almost 22 year old daughter graduates May 14th as a Phlebotomist!  She has already passed her National Board Exam to be certified!  I am soo proud of her! :)

T-Shirts

We are really pushing our Tshirts the next couple weeks because we will have to close this fundraiser out in time to get a payment from them to take to Taiwan with us! :)  We have different shirts than before and some are the same!  PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT :)

Be sure that if you want your order to help Jeremiah that you order from our page and the shirts on our page.  If you venture off and look at other shirts we MIGHT can get a bit of credit for them but am not sure but they have to know you are shopping for Jeremiah and the Sisemore Adoption :)  Here is a picture of the Shirts we have and also an approximate pricelist.  IF you click the pictures they will get bigger to see better :)  If you are local you can pay me direct and I am doing an order here and then they will come to me at the end :)  Whatever works for you :)

Update of the day and such :)

So, today was a FUN day when Mr. FedEx arrived with our airline tickets!  :)  YIPPPEEE :)  I can't believe we are at this point FINALLY! :)

The Envelope :)

JEREMIAH'S Ticket home!!!!!!! :)

It feels so good to have tickets in HAND!  We leave here on June 4th and drive 3 hours away where another asian mama has graciously offered to allow us to park our van at her home that is close to DFW Airport!  WOOHOO save a bit of money!  She has offered to drop us at the airport, and if schedule allows she can pick us up too, that remains to be seen.  Anyway it is such a huge blessing! :)  We fly out the evening of Friday June 4th.  We will then leave LAX early am on Saturday and arriave in Taiwan early am on Sunday June 6th!  Take a train down to Jeremiah's town and then Monday June 7th Taiwan time (Sunday june 6th here at 9:30 pm) we will meet our son and the ones ove rthe orphanage and reporters and share our stories and all :)  We will stay at the Tayih Landis in his town and then day after we get him we will travel to Taipei and stay at the YMCA there to take care of the business that has to happen there!  I can't believe that we are down to needing hotel costs, train tickets, cab fares, Jeremiah's $400 visa fee, food, and misc.!!!!  God is so amazing!

Fundraising as become my middle name!  lol  Currently I am working on the last batch or leg quarters for tomorow's plate sale, in the am I will do the beans and the corn on cob and all :)  Saturday we have a booth at a local festival and have been blessed with some donations of things to sell! :)  We are working on a Big Rummage Sale/Hot Dog sale if we cna get some big items donated to sell at rummage sale and get a location :)  We are also working on a Bunco Night Fundraiser and are praying that can work out and we can  get a buidling to do that!  PRAYING that both of these bring in some funds :)  We have our virtual baby shower that so far has not seemed to get much intersest but we are praying.  I have a couple of Pampered Chef items donated for a small giveaway that I hope to do soon.  There are several places doing online fundraisers for us and givng 20 percent of all sales that say for Jeremiah!  Praying that does something.  I REFUSE to give into fear!  MY GOD IS ABLE!  I CAN'T wait to see Him show off!  I was asked on facebook, what happens if you dont raise enough money.  I said THAT IS NOT AN OPTION, and it is NOT going to happen ...MY GOD IS ABLE!

Jeremiah my sweet frogie boy, we love you soooooo much!  We are coming as soona s we can!  We are working soo hard to raise all the money we need to come and bring you HOME where you belong forever! :)  Hang on tight and while you wait, catch my kisses in the wind! :)

Virtual Adoption Shower for Jeremiah! LOOK!

Hi all :)  I just added this new page to my blog.  There is a link to it above on the menu bar for future looking but here is what it says!  Please look :)

Welcome to Jeremiah's Adoption Shower Fundraiser Page :)  It all started because a far away friend said to me that is I was physically pregnant then most likely someone would give me a baby shower and she would wish she could come but being so far away she would just send a gift! So we were thinking the biggest gift anyone can give Jeremiah is his family!  Soo, the idea was born.  Basically how this works is if you would accept the Baby Shower Invitation, then you get to enjoy shopping for Jeremiah, either at online shops, or in actual stores where you live and then take a picture of what you would buy for Jeremiah for the shower!  Then you would email me the picture of the item and donate what you would have spent on the gift to the Chipin!

PRAISE OF THE DAY...

Well, today was
And I am telling you it was one HOT day!!!!!  90 on May 1st!  I am worried about next weekend!  eek.  But, the day was amazing though hot.  We had alot of donations for baked good, some by people I did not even know that had heard about it from one person or another!  We ended up raising $164.70!!!!!  That is PROFIT after expenses!  GOD is flipping amazing! :)  I am sooo thrilled that things went so well! :)  And if that was not enough about 2 hours after we got home from the bake sale I got a call asking if I could do an overnight babysitting job and they would pick the kiddos up by 9 am so we can still go to a Church service so I was thrilled!  That means a bit more money coming into the Jeremiah fund this week! :)  It has been a good week of fundraising between the Plate Sale , today's bake Sale and now the babysitting :)  Which is going wonderfully with the 2 youngest that I am keeping but the 2 older kids 3 and 5 are acting up while SUPPOSE to be going to sleep but overall a great night :)

So, here are a few shots from the Bake Sale today of silliness.  It was a frantic morning, the banner is missing, we forgot the posterboard and the camera but Celeste got a few shots with her cell phone :)  So here you go on that :

This is Ashley with one of my brownie cakes I made!  :)  She took it out of the round pan and ate it like this!  LOL She is the owner of the store that hosted us!

my sweet Panda Boy :)

boredum causes strange behavior! LOL  Bobby put his glasses on Noah!  He looks so odd with them on to me!

Being so hot at one point when a friend was up there I jokingly said I should have brought an umbrella to keep the sun off, and her 12 year old Marissa runs to their van and gets me an umbrella :)  So part of the time while they were there I had a bit of shade!  At one point I had Noah and his buddy drake under it with me, but Noah kept running out.  Did not understand the blessing of shade!

So, I am anxiously awaiting Fedex to arrive with our plane Tickets.  I know they went out Thursday 3 day fedex so I am not sure if that will be Sunday or Monday!  The bank issues continue as now there is way too much money in my account.  I booked the hotel in Tainan and my balance went down appropriately, today it is back up more than it was to begin with!!  I am one confused person.  PRAYING they get this all figured out quickly.  As for the flights we leave here on June 4th to drive 3 hours to dallas where we will fly from there to LA and then from La on to Taiwan.  We will arrive in Taiwan on Sunday June 6th Taiwan time early am.  Then will take the train down to Jeremiah's town :)  We will have him in our arms June 7th at 10:30 am Taiwan Time!  That will be 9:30 pm on June 6th Lousiana time! :)  We will arrive back in US June 10th but not back to dallas till June 11th and then a 3 hour drive home!  I have cried so many tears over the flying out of dallas rather than home thing.  It kills me that Jeremiah will not a homecoming with folks at the airport :(  It will bother me forever I just know it but it cant be helped.  At this point we just need to get him home!  The decision to fly out of dallas and not here was nto totally a money issue but a fligth issue, they could not find a flight from here that connected to the dallas to LA flight with seats on it!  So we just drive and park our van at airport and go on.

I am so thankful that the Lord is providing ways for us to raise money!  I am praying for more and more ways and I am REFUSING to give in to fear that would say it is impossible to raise enough in time!  I WILL NOT, I CAN NOT even think that.

Lord I will put my trust IN YOU!  GUIDE and direct me in the final leg of this adoption Journey, lead and guide us in all areas Lord!

Hang on little buddy!  It is coming so soon!  God's timing is perfect even when it doesnt feel that way!   Catch my kisses in the wind and KNOW my love for you grows each second that we wait for you!

PRAISES

Hi all :)

I had such an excaperating day to end and very difficult week. But I am praising God because the verse He gave me this morning I so needed today and it was nice to know it was special just for me today! We have Plane tickets paid for!

This was quite hard to get. Took 4 travel agents jumping through hoops to finally get us on flights that connected to anywhere near where we live! We will have to drive 3 hours to the airport and then pay to park the van while gone at DFW BUT we have seats and we are GOING TO TAIWAN!  :) YES it was horribly more expensive than we could have ever imagined
but I just KNOW God has a plan! My Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills so HE can handle this! :) And in the midst of the tickets being booked the travel agent accidentally hit a wrong button and overcharged by $1000 and my account went overdrawn and it has been a bear trying to get it all
fixed! THAT is a large portion of the difficult day. But on to praises!! The only way the flights work is for us to have a 12
hour layover at LAX on the way back. With Jeremiah's health as it is I did not think an airport for 12 hours after a long flight was a good thing for him so we knew we were gonna have to get a room. Soo, I went and started researching hotels and all and posted on facebook and got some opinions and all and then used Priceline to book a room knowing I needed to stay under
what we raised at this weeks Plate Sale, so I put in 3 and half star or better and I did the name your own price and I said $60, fully thinking they would come back higher but giving it a whirl! IT TOOK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So including tax it is $76 and some change! This weeks sale raised $80! One of the things using priceline did was make me TRUST because you do not
get to pick your hotel, you just put how many stars is minimum you want and give you the one they want. So it was really neat to me that we got the Crowne Plaza at LAX!

It is a really nice hotel and I had looked at it earlier and liked the looks and the rooms were MUCH more expensive than
what we paid on priceline! and for MORE PRAISES...The tickets took almost everything we had raised so far but there was a bit left. Knowing for complete positive our dates and all I decided to check the hotels and all again to make sure there were still rooms available! I started with the first hotel we will stay at in Jeremiah's Birth City! It is an amazing hotel and the hotel we brought Noah to the first night as well so we are familiar with it and have know from the get go how expensive it is. So I am looking on the site to make sure it is not booked for the 2 nights we need since so many days were booked when I looked before and GUESS WHAT I SEE??? A SPECIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A PAID IN ADVANCE at booking special! SOOOO, I booked and PAID for the 2 nights we will be at that hotel for about 75 dollars a night LESS than what we paid per night TWO YEARS AGO when went for Noah and it was off
season then! GOD IS SO FLIPPIN AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in shock that we have 3 nights hotel PAID and our TICKETS PAID! We still need to raise money for the other hotel, trains, cabs, airport pickup, food, Jeremiah's Visa, and emergencies!  PLEASE be praying as we have septic issues and some other things going on that we are trying to deal with as
well, and with us having to drive to dallas we have to have a few things done on the van to make sure it is good and all and just today the brakes started squeeking!   So a brake service at least is in order if not more AND big thing , the gas gage does NOT work! It is so frustrating, I am always scared we will run out of gas! but the thought of running out on the way to or from Dallas really freaks me out so pray miraculously it will start working again or we can figure out how to KNOW we are good on gas! LOL It is hard to even budget for gas because we have no clue
about gas mileage and all!

Please pray tomorrow we have a bake sale! It is suppose to be very bad weather but the store we are having it at has said we can still have it inside, which is amazing, but I worry it will hurt attendance if weather is bad, and also then we can't have folks with signs out by the road or anything if it is storming. Please pray it goes well, we at least get back the money I put into it and everyone stays safe during it! :)  Also pray for our craft booth at the festival on May 8th!  Pray we can get donations of items to sell! :)

And as always please be praying for Jeremiah!  The reason for it all!  It kills me this is taking so long and I was so upset our date was so far behind those who got ruling around the time we did, BUT we are still short of money and so I know it is such a good thing it is a month later, but for Jeremiah's sake having to wait another month hurts my heart!  I am trying so hard NOT to be scared about money and about luggage and figuring out how to get it all to work and not have to pay to Check to much and on and on, and then I remember the verse God gave me this morning...

"Peace, I leave you with...Do NOT let your heart be troubled, DO NOT BE AFRAID!!!!!" John 14:27 HOLDING ONTO THIS PROMISE and TRYING to trust God and NOT be troubled or afraid. $2500 is nothing for God! Septic issues, luggage fees, etc.  are NOTHING for GOD! :)

Jeremiah my sweet frogie boy!  I love you more than words can say.  I miss you so much and the I think how do I miss someone I have never met.  Then I know in my heart I have met you.  You did not grow under my heart but over the past 13 plus months you have grown IN MY HEART!  YOU are a part of me and so to not be together I do miss you.  I ache to pick you up and hold you.  I shared one of your pictures with an old friend the other day and in the picture you are stretching your neck and look like you are looking for something.  My old friend said "He is looking for YOU!"  I pray in some way God has spoken it to your heart that you have a Mommy and a Daddy and a Jei Jei and a Gege waiting on you and working so hard to bring you home!  Your Gege Noah learned to say Didi for you this week!  That is now what he is calling you his little brother! :)  We talk alot about riding on the airplane to go and get you!  Noah is so excited!  I can't wait to see my two sons TOGETHER! :)  Your big sister is dreaming of the day she can dance with you and sing to you, just as mommy and daddy dream of rocking you and singing to you and just getting to know all there is to know about you!  Hang on tight little man, we are coming as soon as we can!  Until I get there, catch my kisses in the wind!

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
