Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

HI ALL :)

I had to write and share!! GUESS WHAT I HAVE??????

I have the rough draft of our APPROVED homestudy!!!! :) YIPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEe!! I am so crying!!

They said they like us!! :) They approved us!!! :) So now they make corrections we needed them to make, and they send to the international agency and they tell them if they want anything else and they fix that and then we have it notarized!!! :) YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I am so so so so happy! I am sure you cant tell can ya??? :) heehee

Lookie:

"
Bobby and Tami Sisemore are a warm, loving Christian couple who has a loving, caring and stable marriage. They are intelligent, open minded and compassionate people who care for others. They are wise and loving parents to Celeste. They have excellent family support as well as many loving friends and a supportive church family.
I approve Bobby Lynn Sisemore and Tami Carol Sisemore for certification as adoptive parents. They present an excellent level of maturity, marital stability, individual strength, financial security, and with positive attitudes regarding the adoption. They have a close family and an active family lifestyle with a real commitment for the adoption.
I approve Bobby Lynn Sisemore and Tami Carol Sisemore for the placement of one child of either sex from Taiwan between the ages of new born and twenty-four months, preferably as young as possible and preferably in good general health or with a treatable or correctable medical condition. This family has experience in dealing with special needs children in their own church. This examiner feels that Bobby and Tami Sisemore are adequately prepared for this task. I hereby approve Bobby and Tami Sisemore for a special needs child in addition to my previous approval."
I have asked them if we should put more than 1 child, so that this can be used at another time in the next 2 years if God brings another one along :) I am waiting on word back for that :)

Can you believe it???? :)

PRAISE \o/ Praise \o/

November 27, 2007
Hi all :)
Well, I wanted to update yall. Today Bobby and I went and had our individual interviews with our local agency. :) It went very very well! :) He said that as soon as we get our references to them which anybody who feels led to write one can but I need them by tomorow night! :) Anyways, we need to get those to him, and our short physical paperwork and a financial record thingy and give him all that on Friday when he comes for the home visit. He said they are already workin on writing the homestudy and the way he talked they are approving us, so as long as they are ok with the house and all and with the financial things then it shoudl be done and we will have an approved homestudy good for 2 years in Louisiana. Then they will send that to our international agency and they will add whatever they need for Taiwan and then on and on we go :) God has so moved. We were able to pay the entire $800 today when we went in :) It was so good to be done with all homestudy fees now. We had already paid the clearance fees and sent off the application fees. It is amazing to me what all God has done so quickly. :) On top of that the application and the fees FINALLY arrived at our international agency just minutes ago and they called and talked to me! Noah is OFFICALLY matched with us so long as the homestudy goes through :) based on what was said today and all by our local office :) I am so excited :) They said that within a week or so I should get some updated pics and information about Noah! It is so strange how I am so thinking about him all the time and wondering if he is ok and such! :) They are mailing us more paperwork to fill out and more things to get done :) There is so much to do and so many fees and it seems things have slowed down but we are BELIEVING and waiting on God to show off some more :) If I let myself thing about that we need thousands and thousands of dollars I get very overwhelmed but if I can just go day to day and work and think of ideas and such and do ALOT of praying I do better. PLEASE be in prayer with us and ANY ideas you have for fundraising please let us know. We have 25 boxes of chocolate bars that we are trying to sell and we have to get them sold soon so we can pay the invoice. Please pray God blesses that. Also we have the homeschool books for sale and other books. We are working on getting some subway punch cards to sell. I am tryin to organize a Christmas Eve Dinner Plate Sale to shut ins and such but I have to make sure I have enough help to deliver and all :) And I have to figure out how to cook and all and get it ready around a family Christmas at 2 at Bobby's eldest sisters house. Anyways, not sure if that one will work out or not. Also several have said they will help with a bbq plate sale at some point and I thought of a spaghetti plate sale too. Anyways, any ideas are most welcome :) Anyways please keep it all in prayer and remember the homevisit Friday at 1:30 and also pray that I can get things around here the way I want them and all :) And please pray that I can find support group or and more resources for babies with Fragile X Chromosome Syndrome. :) And as always remember Noah in your prayers :)

update on homestudy appt 1 on Nov 16 at Noon.

Hi all :)

I wanted to udpate yall on the first visit of the homestudy. Bobby and I went to the social workers office on Friday at noon and met with them! ;) We began filling out paperwork and such and all went incredibly well :) We were very blessed. The social worker and his wife are just lovely. They act almost as if this is just a formality. We are praying all will go well and they will like all they see and we will have a favorable answer. We gave them copies of marriage liscence and birth certificates and such that we had with us. We filled out our paperwork for the criminal background checks and the child abuse check and such. We brought home papers to be filling out and the mom's had to fill out background check paperwork. I have an idividual interview on Nov 27th at 2:30. Bobby is suppose to have on that day as well, unless he is still on jury duty, in which case it will be rescheduled for his. The home visit will be Nov 30 at 1:30 pm. PLEASE pray for this to go well. We are tyin to fundraise the 2nd 400 for the hometudy and of course funds for the actual adoption and travel to taiwan and such. PLEASE be in prayer that God wil speak to hearts, pray that we can come up with ideas for fundraisng and such. God has so moved already and I am sure he will continue to do so! :) Thanks so much for all the prayers and support :) God Bless,

Tami

Nov 13 Update on Journey to Noah!

Hi All :)

Just thought I would update on things in the Journey to Noah. First off I got some records today and on Oct. 26 when Noah was seen by the doctor they said that " Currently he can roll over, likes to push himself up and look around, he loves to interact with others, loves to laugh and talk, he can hold onto something and stand up, and loves to grab the toys which are hanging over his head"!!!!!!!! :) Is that not totally amazing! :) My sweet baby boy! That doesnt sound too developmentally delayed to me! I had no clue he could do so much :) We are working really hard to earn the home study and clearance fee money quickly and the adoption fees. Today they told us that things in Taiwan have moved very quickly for a couple with another special needs baby. They got approval less than a month after the dossier went to Taiwan!! :) So they said to get ready, things may go quicker than the 4 to 6 months. She said once we have the home study the dossier wont take very long, especially since we are workin on some of the papers jointly. Anyways, please continue to be in prayer for funds and such. God is so blessing. We have sales coming through on homeschool books we have been given, we have donations coming in from people we have not even met! :) I just found out that if people want to donate directly to our International agency in our name for Noah's adoption, that they can send them something so that folks can take donations off their taxes! That is amazing! :) They say some will be more likely to want to donate if it is tax deductible :) We found out today we also have to pay a $250 application fee NOW. They are holding Noah for us but we need that NOW! So PRAY that we can earn that in addition to homestudy money quickly, but folks have been so generous and homeschool books selling and things that I am not worried. Just waiting for God to show off more! Once we get the application and the application fee in we can apply to the board of directors for a grant towards Noah's main adoption fees. Praying this works out as well! :) God is soo good!!! :) Please also if you know anyone who might be interested in buying some homeschool books, some sci fi/fantacy/adventure books, please share with them that we are selling these for the baby fund and put them in touch with us! :) Please share the prayer needs with everyone you know and also if anyone you know might feel led to donate, they can contact VAL at Heartsent Adoption Agency ( VF Jubilee @ aol.com but remove the spaces around the @ sign.) and tell her the donation is for the Sisemore's Adoption of Noah. She can send them a tax form to make the donation tax deductible. Please just ask anyone you know to be praying for Noah and for us! :) As always pray for him to be safe, healthy, warm, and someone to love on him :) We are gettin everything ready! :) We Can't WAIT!!! :)

Thanks for the prayers and caring :)

God bless,
TamiJoy

GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!

God is so incredibly Good! It is amazing to me how He is speaking to people's hearts to help us! Everytime I begin to get discouraged that I will hold a little one in my arms from across the world, something happens to encourage me to just TRUST HIM and have FAITH IN HIM! The one who creates children can surely overcome any earthly obstacle to bring me the children of my heart. We have had another donation to the chipin fund and also a friend told me of some things she will donate to our rummage sale when we have that! God is so good! I have been down ill and not able to do really anything to help us in this and even in that God is still moving on this adoption journey :) Pray for us as we begin a Home Interiors Fundraiser. We will begin as soon as I can get the brochures from my friend Susan! :) The baby fund will earn 50 percent on every candle we sell. With the holidays coming up I pray this will be a good fundraiser. Bobby will take a brochure to work, and my friend Liane is going to take one to her work as well and I am praying for direction on where to go and how to do this. I am really getting excited. At times it seems like this just might can happen, then other times it seems like such a far away dream. Praise YOU Jesus that YOU are bigger than any obstacle to my dreams!

Sisemore Adoption Blog up and runnin :)

Well, I have (I THINK) Finally figured out how to start an adoption blog for the Sisemore Family!

That is Bobby (51), Tami (39) and Celeste (19) and the children of our hearts to come!!! :) We are very much in the praying and fundraising stages of this journey! :) God is so good. We just began a chipin page a week ago and have already had $40 in donations. I am also selling a bunch of donated homeschool books and posted those and so far I have sold 2 books for $25. So the Adoption fund has $65 in it and We have a change jar goin in our house now. We are puttin all change in their and prayin it will add up quickly. I keep seein so many things about children with agency and country fees completley paid. So we are prayin to come up with our homestudy fees, our american immigration and fingerprint fees and such as that and our travel fees to place God will lead us for the first baby! :) We are trusting God for the details, boy, girl, baby, toddler, preschooler, country, race, color etc. all of that is in God's hands. PLEASE pray with us as we wait for God to SHOW OFF!!! :)

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
