Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Panda Boy is growin so much! :)

Well, Panda Boy is growing so much! We were shopping today to try and find THE PERFECT Easter Outfit and I found it! The most adorable little suit. It was short with suspenders that are attached and they cross in back and come over the front and button at the front waist, a white shirt with peter pan collar and then jacket that matches the shorts. All Light blue pinstripe with a bow tie to match and knee socks! It was perfect. Well, I picked up the 12 months and I am thinking he has been growin I better get an 18 month. Well, they did not have an 18 month so I decided to try the 12 month one on him! IT WAS SO ADORABLE on him but it was too short in the stride so the little suspender strap things dug into his shoulders and I could not get it and have it be too tight in the stride so we left that outfit. It is SOOO hard to find cute boys dress clothes in this town! UGGGH :( I am so sad to have left that outfit but my baby boy is now for the most part I guess in an 18 month at least in that brand. He still has alot of 12 months clothes here at home that fit but in this case 12 months did not cut it! Noah is growing in more ways that just height! The other day we had our FIRST HAIRCUT WITHOUT TEARS! There is some video from midway on because Celeste was so shocked he was doin so well she ran and got the camera! When I have a chance to clip it I will post it. It is over 6 minutes long! :) I figured out how to cut his hair where he doesn't cry! It is kinda odd but he is stilling IN MY LAP while I am in my recliner with the legs up! :) heehee IT WORKS!!!! and if I can do it with no tears then that is less trauma on him and THAT MAKES ME HAPPY! I still think the haircut needs some work but he does look adorable! Luckily alot of the mistakes don't show too much in the pictures! :) Here are some pictures from the past few days :)

Is that not the most handsome Panda boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) I LOVE THAT FACE!

His grin is so big you can't see his little eyes! :)

aww mama's baby boy! :)

Grinnin away in our high chair after eating and making a nice mess! :) heehee

Rain Rain go away, Little Noah wants to play!

Another day same song! Panda Boy LOVES it outside and he LOVES to look out the window and the door! It is swamp cuz there has been so much rain!

My boy watchin American Idol with us! :) He is in his garden with his water! :) heehee

Noah went to our nephew's birthday party and the hat did NOT stay on long! We joked it was because he did not want to mess up his new hairdo! :) heehee

This shot of Noah and Daddy was just too adorable! :) I LOVED IT! :)
PRAY I can find an Easter Outfit in this town I like!

Docs Offices and WONDERFUL NEWS!

I am so excited! I have been very upset because after having things all set up for Noah to begin speech and ot twice a week and pt once a month in addition to the special instructor he already had we found out that our insurance has a stupid loophole that made it impossible for Noah to receive these therapies. I have just been devastated and praying and just unsure what to do. I decided I would have to homeschool speech and research and all. Well, tonight Noah's special therapist from Early steps was here along with his family service coordinator and amazing and wonderful things came out of that appointment. Turns out when we began with early steps someone dropped the ball (and paperwork!) and we have been suppose to be having this family service coordinator contact us each month and all to see how things are going and what else Noah needs and to make sure we understand everything. Well, after 6 months of therapy it was finally discovered that the paperwork never got to the place for the FSP. So today we met her and she explained that Noah can have multiple therapy's as needed. So he can have speech without giving up his therapy with Maria (his special therapist) and without haveing to split the time. Anyway she is searching for a speech therapist to come out to our town but I said if you can't find one I will drive wherever I have to so he can have what he needs. The hope is to have it figured out so he can begin speech next week! :) Also he will have a special Occupational therapy about twice a month and continue with Maria 3 times a week. We meet again next month and at that time the speech person can say if he needs more days a week and that can be applied for. And also all the therapist and me will meet together and determine if there are any new areas we need to work on or new therapist we need to have. Basically they said he can have as many therapist as he needs as long as each one only comes once a week. Though if more than once a week is needed then she says they can get that approved too! but it is a process. I had no clue all this was available to Noah through Early Steps! :) GOD KNEW! :) I was literally in tears talking to them when I realized that these people wanted to really help Noah and this FSP lady was gonna get him all the services he needed! I am doing a happy dance now! :)

Today was a day filled with Doctors offices! Noah had a reacheck at pediatrician today and his sinus infection is worse with some blood in the drainage so he got another antibiotic shot for that but his lungs sounded "much less gunky" heehee I love his pediatrician! And he is right up the road in our little town so that is SOOOO nice :)

Celeste had a doctor's appointment this afternoon and so Noah and I took her to that! Below are some pictures from the day and at the bottom is a video of delerium that sets in when you are waiting in docs offices ALL DAY!

This little Kangaroo climber/slide is in the "sick room" waiting side. Friday when we were there Noah was too sick to care about playing but today he was feeling good enough to play! :) I would LOVE to have on of these! :) He had so much fun! Daddy had to help to keep us from fallin on our head!

Here we are comin down the slide. He would get about where he is in this picture and then try to stand and went tumbling a couple times. Daddy had to keep a hand on him to keep him from doin it!

We are in the room now and he is all into the books! look at that concentration!

Daddy is reading him a book

He is so funny trying to pick these up. He was grunting! LOL Been paying too good attention to us when we lift stuff! heehee

LOOK at that face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

TOO TOO CUTE!

Reading with Daddy!

This is so cute to me! He is lookin up at his daddy!

THIS is the first ever time Noah has gotten weighed without screaming! :) they have a big butterfly that hangs above and it flaps its wings, and there is kiddie stuff all over the scale and around it. :) Bobby called him and he looked at him but had been looking at the buttefly overhead! He weighs 25 pounds! He had on heavier clothes today so I guess that is the difference in weight from Friday. He is 34 inches tall! :) He has grown ALOT in height in the past 6 months!

The first part of the video was at the pediatrician, the rest was made in the waiting room at Celeste's doctors office! Noah had gotten the giggles for some reason so I started pullin the stroller down and up to play and join it :) It is so cute! He was tired of doc's offices and I guess delierious! :) heehee Poor guy jut a bit after the video ends he went from laughin to cryin and we are not sure why! He is such a fun little panda boy! :) Hope you enjoy!

6 Months...Half a Year! WOW!

SIX MONTHS! That is HALF A YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! Can you believe it? Sometimes I still can't believe that Noah is FINALLY here and then I look at the calendar and today March 8th marks SIX MONTHS since they placed that bundle of wondermous love into my arms! WOW O WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It overwhelms me that it has happend and I have my son! Six months seems huge to me! HALF a year! that sounds so long and yet at times it seems I just got him, other times it seems he has ALWAYS been here. Of course the 10 and half months we watched him grow in pictures he was in our hearts so really it is 16 and half months since we first laid eyes on that gorgeous creature! :) wow aint that a blip! Noah was 16 and a half months when we picked him up on Gotcha day! Also 6 months was the amount of time Noah was alive before we knew about him! we missed so much in that 6 months and even more so in the 16 and a half months of his life before he was in our home but oh my what Joy he has brought to us now that he is here! And what challenges! But oh how I love it! :) There were times I NEVER really thought this would happen and Noah would be home and I look back over it all and I am like HOW did this happen? HOW did we do that, actually LOOK HOW GOD DID THAT! Thank YOU JESUS for your divine intervention to bridge the ocean and bring our Noah home! My heart still so pulls toward adoption and I pray and wait and look forward to the day when God brings home all our children of our hearts, when we see faces with the names we have! This has been the most amazing experience of my life and I would do it again a million times over! I dont know when but GOD does! :) For now I just bask in the amazingness of the child of my heart...the dream fulfilled! The panda boy at the end of my rainbow! This child has a smile that lights up a room! What Joy he brings to my heart even during the saddest of times! It is so funny to me because during the wait to bring him home we clung to every photo, every word of an update and we dreamed about what it all meant, we dreamed about what is under those socks! What do those toes look like, what does his hair feel like? his skin? what does he smell like! All those things. I looked at those pictures and so wanted to just reach into them and pick him up! NOW I can pick him up whenever I want. I know what his skin feels like and I get to rub that boy down and try to soften that very skin! I get to run my fingers through that beautiful hair! I get to play this little piggy with those sweet little toes! WHAT AN HONOR! I get to feel those sweet tight arms around my neck! and no greater joy than to see him LIGHT UP with that smile at ME!!!! How many times did I smile at those pictures and now that boy is smiling at me!!!!! One of the most prescious things to me is Noah when he wakes up! I will pick him up out of the crib (if he is in crib, heeheee and if not my bed) and I hold him and he just fits right in my arms and that head snuggles against me and just fits by my neck and cheek. and he lays his sweet head on my shoulder and puts his arms around me and HE PATS ME! :) It is such an amazing feeling that tender little hand patting me! I am not really sure WHEN he started that but he does that EVERY time I pick him up when he wakes. Even if he is really fussy! He is such a love dove. Another thing he does that is so sweet is the other day I was crying tears and Noah was in my arms and he would take his finger and he would wipe the tear! 22 and a half months old, only with his family 6 months and he is wiping MY tears! Where did he learn to do that? So sweet. He will also pat on me and rub my face when he sees I am upset. It does not upset him and he does not react to it other than to reach out to me. I find that so interesting! I joke and say that THIS child is the one who is gonna take care of me in my old age! heehee There are so many amazing things about this boy and I do not want to take any of them for granted! There are so many things about Noah I still do NOT know, so much I may never know, so much I wish so badly I knew. I just look at him and so much is a mystery. I fill out forms at doctors and so much is blank or filled in unknown. Yup those parts make me sad that I dont know but it is such an amazing adventure that this wonderful soul that I took from everything he knows is allowing me to be a part of his world! Thank yall for allowing me to share all this. And thank you if you read this far! :)

I leave you with some pictures of the last 6 months! :)

PLEASE HELP!

Hi all,

My husband and I are Children's Pastors at our Church and have been for many years! Every year the children attend Church camp in the summer. Most of our Church kids, and all our ministry kids do not have parents who can just write a check for them to attend a week of camp. EVERY year these kids work so very hard to EARN every penny to pay their registration, gas, clothes, and anything they need to go to camp. We have spent days upon days in front of businesses from 8 am till 8 or 9 pm selling candy bars that were melting faster than we could sell them, as well as baked goods they baked. Here where we live more and more businesses are getting to the point they will not allow our kids to sell in front anymore. Especially the large ones where it really helps. We are praying for ways to help get these kids to camp where they can have a week to be a kid and get to know their Heavenly Father! Our own family will be going and we will be fundraising so we can go as well so there is nothing left for us to help all these kids earn their money. Through prayer I felt led to open a chipin for the Kids Camp Fund and to make the video that is on the blog now. PLEASE keep all these kids and any that will be coming, the teens going and the adults going all in your prayers. Also please pray if the Lord would have you to store some treasure in these kids! Please share with ANYONE who might help! Thank you :) Here is the video in this post too :)

MY SCARIEST Moment as a mom to a boy!

First off I can thankfully start by saying HE IS OK! By the grace of God! :) Noah and Samuel were playing in my room while I was paying some bills online (ooops need to remember to go back and pay them bills! ) and they were giggling and playing and such and for some reason, perhaps the leading of GOD!) I happend to look up at the right moment and saw Noah chewing on something! I was like what do you have in your mouth! I really thought it was dogfood at first because our dingy dogs love to bring some into another room and set on floor and eat one at a time so I am digginn in Noah's mouth expect dog food and instead I find a pill! That was by far the SCARIEST momens as a mom to Noah I have had yet. The 2nd scariest I have had ever! I will share later about the first. Anyway, so it appears to be a sudafed and he has gotten the coating off and there is very little of the colored part left and some white. I am panacking because 1) I have NO CLUE how he got this, 2) was this the FIRST or the LAST one he got? and 3) Bobby is gone in my car on errands and I am trapped! FREAK OUT BEGAN! I called bobby hysterical and told him to get home NOW! I called peds office who gave me number to poison control and was told to get closer to hospital if I did not want to take him in now and wanted to wait but to get closer. I am thinking ok, so you think I need to be closer. humm I want to be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The big issue was we had no clue for SURE if it was sudafed and for sure how many he may have gotten. Bobby arrives, we load samuel (who I am also watching even though I did not see him take one) and we head to ER. They never did figure out for sure if it was a sudafed. They observed him a couple hours I guess. They said that if he had toxic levels of anything that he would have shown symptoms and hadn't so they sent us home. We are home now, boys are fed and down for naps and I am one worried mama! I am worried bout both boys cuz sam was in room too but neither is acting like anything is wrong. Noah was sleepy at hospital at a weird time which scared me but doc said not to worry. Now that they are home and napping, guess what I AM WORRIED! I am not a doctor so prayerfully he knows what he is talking about. I still dont know how he got the pill. someone must have dropped one on the floor and didnt realize cuz the package was up high still and I have trouble getting them out of it so i dont know :( ugggh scary! we are all real sick with flu here on top of everything!

Thank you JESUS for protecting my prescious baby boy!

by the way, the only time I have been more frightend as a mom was when Celeste was about 12 and she was haveing some very scary symptoms and we were in a ER and she had gone paralyzed from waist down and arms were getting weak and the doctor said he thought she had gilliam barre syndrome (? on spelling) and that her lungs would go paralyzed soon and they were gonna have to put her in a drug induced coma for awhile and put her in pediatric ICU. I was like FLIPPIN out and scared. Then she was paralyzed from neck down adn I got more scared. doctor left to write the orders and I called the prayer chain! By the time they got ready to move her upstairs she was better! and NEVER had another symptom like those again! She still sometimes has no reflexes but other than that no sign of anything left! THAT was the scariest I think. I dont know maybe these 2 or tied! I just kept telling bobby, I dont want to loose Noah. How did this happen. I STILL can't believe it. I told Bobby I wanted him to move our heavy bed so we can vacuum under it and behind everything just in case. I am ready to go out a buy one of those jumper things on a stand and only put him down in it if I am even slightly distracted! so scary! no more bill paying. and I may boycot sesame street. Elmo let me down with keepin the boy mesmerized! ok I am grasping for something funny in this post. AT least we have the happiness that Noah is OK! :)

WE send you kisses and blessings in the wind!

hello from MISSISSIPPI

Hello from Mississippi :) Well, I did it. I drove further than I ever have before. We are at our stopping point on our way to Atlanta for the conference! I am nervous about the drive tomorow as it is all unfamiliar territory and driving in big city of atlanta once there but we are excited :)

Here is a shot Celeste got of the welcome to MS sign today :)

This is a picture of the 3 travelers this morning before we left the house!

We stopped along the way for lunch and to visit with a dear friend Barb and her daughter Katherine. Barb and I met on the internet at JEM Ministries :) She had not had a chance to meet Noah yet and now she has :) It was great to see them even for a short visit! Noah is sleeping under the quilt lovingly made by Barb!! I am suppose to have pics of Noah eating a cupcake she gave us for the room tonight but Noah fell out before we got back to the room and is sleeping so I guess it will be tomorow before he eats his cupcake!

Katherine meets Noah

Barb neets him too! :)

Meridian is famous for its carosel (which is closed right now that we planned to visit. they have some horses around town. this one was in the mall so we set Noah on it :)
another shot of him on it bein sweet and FUNNY

Celeste acting silly! :)
Please keep us in prayer as we go on the rest of the journey tomorow and for traveling home sunday and monday.

Road Trip Baby!

Noah, Celeste and I are leaving town in the morning to drive to Atlanta, GA for a Women's conference there! :) We will be stopping part way and staying in a hotel over night to break up the trip! Celeste is BESIDE herself excited! :) heehee And Noah was quite curious when I was packing toys in a suitcase. At first he kept trying to take them out and I said, we are taking these on our trip tomorow. All of a sudden I guess he figured it out and he started runnin round bringing all kinds of things for me to Add to suitcase, including things TOO BIG to fit :) heehee :) Anyways Just wanted to share our joy and excitement! Bobby needed a haircut for work and Noah's bangs were getting long so I gave them haircuts tonight and really messed up Noah's WORSE than last time! ugggh I am suppose to get better NOT worse! poor baby! I don't have time before we leave to try and fix it so it will have to do! He did MUCH better this time and only fussed when I did around the bottom of the back of his head. The front looks good but of course it has that gorgeous face to go with it :) the sides and top back are horrible. Thank God it will grow and I will get another chance! anyway here are some pics for your enjoyment!

Daddy and Noah! :)
You can see pretty good how bad it looks. I so don't know what I am doing. Did not plan the sides to be soo short not that I don't like them short but can't figure out how to make it go with top. He needs the top long right now because I run my hands through it to comfort him! And those bangs are just too cute :)

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
