Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Amazing News and Home Study Visit Today! :)

I had to sing the praises of Jumpin Jupiter! They are amazing. They let me know today that they wanted to move the fundraiser from Thursday the 18th till Friday the 19th because more people could probably come on a Friday! :) Also they told me the percentage that will go to the Jeremiah Fund! EIGHTY percent of the admission and TWENTY percent of concessions! Can you believe that!!! :) Is that not just amazingly GENEROUS OF THEM!!???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so blessed and excited! :) So please note the date change from June 18th to June 19th!

PLEASE be praying for this fundraiser!!!! Here are the details!

Jumping for Jeremiah

I can't wait till that night! It will be so much fun and we will all be JUMPIN for Jeremiah! :) I am overwhelmed by their generosity! :)

We have been getting good news like nuts :) Chick-Fil-A locally is probably going to let us have a fundraising night there where we get a percentage of the TOTAL Sales! :) Isnt' that great! There is one more person who has to approve it and then we are a go. They will also do a press release to try to get it on tv and radio :) The more that come the better! :)

Tastefully Simple is also doing an online fundraiser for us that I will have a website that folks can go to and order food soon :) IF I can figure out how to get you on. I know I can send invites so send me your email address if you want invites to this site to see if you are hungry :) Looks like good food! :) Jeremiah will get 18% of all sales! :)

God is so wonderful! :)

Please keep all of these in prayer as well as more ideas and things to come :) We are trying to get into the Farmer's Market to sell Sweet Breads and regular breads every saturday morning from 7 till noon but are on the waiting list for a spot. It might still happen. PLEASE PRAY for this too! :)

Update, double, shaving and exciting news!

Today I got the most precious gift a mother who is adopting can get short off an announcement of a decree! NEW PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited and the timing was amazing! I actually prayed in my prayer journal this morning Lord please let me get new pictures and updates TODAY! THANKS LORD! :) I do not have updates yet as they are waiting for them to be translated but I do have pics :) Here is one of them :)

This is the closest up on his beautiful little face! :) Isn't he just gorgeous! I can't WAIT to hold him in my arms and rock him and tell him just how loved he is! :) Isn't it amazing how you fall more and more in love with them EVERY picture? And how you just sit on the edge of your seat as you scan email praying for just a glimpse of a new picture, or some developmental update or something on your baby that is a world away! This process of adoption is hard in so many ways but oh the joy those moments bring when you connect with the newest photo or hear the newest word about your baby! :)

Well, I was totally blessed this week with an AMAZING deal on something that I will DEFINITELY need when Jeremiah comes home! A DOUBLE STROLLER! :) heeheee I got a beyond amazing deal on this that a lady close by was selling! :)

Here is Noah checking it out! :) He wants the top back :) heehee

the picture did not come out very good but you can see it is a double stroller :) I can't wait tilll I can post a picture of BOTH my sonS in the stroller TOGETHER! :)

This is so cute! Whenever Celeste sits in the chair to do her nails, Noah comes runnin and has a fit for her to file his too! :) lol :) Isnt that a precious shot!!! ??

Tonight while Bobby was shaving Noah decided he wanted in on the action :) So Bobby put some shaving cream on him :)

not too good a shot in this one.

There you can see it better! :) Then Noah decided that DADDY had his shirt off so Noah had to have his off! LOL

There he is all manly! heehee The shaving cream came off with the shrit for the most part. You can see Bobby's bad bruise on his side where he fell on the front steps the other day in the bad weather. OUCH! It looks dreadful!
I wanted to share some EXCITING new with yall! A local place here that has all kinds of bouncy houses and such INSIDE is going to do a fundraiser for us! :) It wil be in June and it is called JUMPIN FOR JEREMIAH! I am so excited about this. A certain percentage (they have not decided just yet) of all sales for entry and concession for the night will go towards The Jeremiah Fund! I really PRAY this will be a BIG fundraiser and will go VERY WELL! We are going to make up flyers to get the word out to folks to come and all. It is a fun night for them and helps raise money for Jeremiah! :) We have it scheduled for June 18th because we wanted to allow as much time as we could to advertise it up! :) Also please be in prayer that I can get in touch with the local lady for our Farmer's Market. I want to see about signing up to sell baked goods there on Saturday Mornings once it starts :) I am having difficulty getting the information I need.
We have several other fundraisers in the fire so please pray that they will work out well too! Also we will be doing some candy sales in front of a business as well. We also have a home and garden fundraising party coming up in early June! That shoudl be fun and there are fundraising sheets we can take soon and start trying to sell off them :) And we have an online fundraiser possibility through a company that sells food. EVERYONE has to eat so I am hoping that will be good for folks :)
PLEASE keep all our fundraising efforts in prayer as we work to try and raise the money QUICKLY as possible to bring home our Jeremiah! It is overwhelming sometimes but we just have to look on that face above and remember our frogie boy is waiting for us. Lots of love, lots of prayers and lots of relying on God will get us through this. Praise God HE knows where it is all coming from!
Jeremiah sweet frogie boy! Mama loves you with all her heart! I am working as hard as I can to get there darling! PLEASE hadg on precious and until then, catch my kisses in the wind!

First Mother's Day with Noah home! :)

Wow, as I sit here at the close of Mother's Day 2009 and reflect I am overwhelmed with blessing and love and excitement for the future Mother's Days to come :) Last year on Mother's Day I was sad that I did not have Noah home, sad I could not afford to fly over to see him for mother's day, but blessed to have my sweet daughter home from school with me. It was so hard aching so much to have Noah home in my arms and not having a clue WHEN it would happen, HOW it would happen, and even at times I am sure the fears and doubts crept in of IF it would happen. But as you can see, this year...

My sneaky 20 year old took this picture from the doorway and we had to doctor it a bit with lighting and such to get it where you can see it. Reading to Noah IN MY ARMS! What a difference a year makes! I am still in amazement at times that Noah is REALLY here and they REALLY gave me my baby! :) At times it does NOT seem like Noah has been with us for 8 months! At other times it feels like he has always been here! :) I so love that little panda boy and the joy he brings me is indescribable! I NEVER would have believed last year if someone had told me that by next Mother's Day Noah would be home, Celeste would be going to school in our town, and I would be on a journey to Jeremiah and waiting for him to come home this year! :) I LOVE IT :) I pray next year I will have ALL THREE of my children home with me and have a wonderful picture all together :)

I had some very sweet and fun time with my first baby...my baby girl Celeste tonight :) I wanted a picture of her and I together on mother's day. Always my silly girl Celeste had too much fun with that and we have tons and tons of very silly and fun pictures! lol I am sunburned and the pics look odd but here are a couple :)

The girl who does not like to take pics too much had a blast bitin my nose with her lips! LOL

This shot was taken in honor of my "adopted (not legally, just in heart) daughter" Suelky in Korea! Suelky was Celeste roomate at college out of town last year and I fell in love with her and her with us. She calls me mom and called this morning from Korea (at like midnight her time or something like that ) to wish me Happy Mother's Day! :) Suelky always put a peace sign by her face when she took her pictures! So we did one like that for her! :)

This one is sweet :) All these were taken on night mode on my camera and it did not do too bad at all :)

I had a wonderful day :) It began with these BEAUTIFUL Roses from men! :) My sweet hubby Bobby :) and my precious panda boy Noah! :)
and a Gaither Music DVD and a card from Bobby and a card from Noah :) It said from YOUR SON NOAH! I LOVE IT :) We got each of our moms a corsage and some candy and a card. on the cards I signed all our names and under Noah's name I let him draw with the pen and under Jeremiah's name I put a cute frog sticker to represent his signature since he is frogie boy! :) heehee Bobby and Celeste and Noah took me and both the moms out to eat at Pasadas! :) I ate way too much fajitas but oh they were so good :) Then came home and continued to work on spring cleaing and getting ready for homestudy and for Jeremiah! :) Celeste and I put together Jeremiah's crib last night and today I set up some things in it, like his easter basket that is waiting on him and such :) It is so neat to spend time today getting ready for when he is home since I was so missing him today :)

Just in case you were missing seeing his sweet face I thought I would put his picture up for you to see :) Please keep my youngest son ( I JUST LOVE SAYING STUFF LIKE THAT!) in prayer and the entire process and the fundraising for him to come home QUICKLY! :) I have to really pray alot through all this and...

Fully Rely On God to bring my Frogie boy home QUICKLY! I am so praying for God to show off in the way of bringing in funds for Jeremiah! I can't wait to see this move sooo quickly! :)
Jeremiah sweetie. Mama loves you with all her heart sweet baby! I am holding you in my heart while Jesus holds you in His arms sweet boy. REMEMBER we love you and are working SOOO HARD to get you home quickly. Hang on sweetness and catch my kisses in the wind! :)

Bake Sale Flop Candy Sale Hop

So today we had our bake sale and candy sale for Jeremiah! :) The Bake Sale was basically a flop. I mean we sold some things but not very well. I have LEARNED quite a bit about having a bake sale in May in Louisiana HEAT! NO FROSTING! The cookies sold great, the fruit breads (blueberry, strawberry, etc. sold wonderfully) and the brownies and brownie cakes were scooped up in a flash but the frosted cakes did not do so well after about an hour into it. We sold a few but not too many. I had many asking for pumpkin bread, pound cake and regular bread. SOOOO, we will have another bake sale at some point but it will be fruit breads, nut breads, brownies and brownie cakes, cookies, and non sweet breads. (HENCE I have to learn to make some from scratch without my bread machine. I fear those would not sell as the bread machine makes them very hard on the oustide. WHY does it do that? humm anyway... the bake sale part did not do well, But OH MY the candy sales were HOPPIN! :) We had 2 different fundraising packs, one had snickers, M & M's peanut, M & M's plain, skittles, and something else, and then the other was wonka candies, like nerds, nerd ropes, fun dips, and a couple other things. We sold both of those out and Bobby had to run back in and buy a box of M & M's to sell for the last hour! Anyway, AFTER all expenses were paid, we had a profit of $165.56!!!! :) Not bad from 9:15 am till 4 pm! :) On top of our lovely profit I have a Lobster look to sport for Mother's Day! I burn so easy and FORGOT sunscreen cuz I wasn't goin swimming did not think about it! Here are some pictures for your enjoyment!

Here is a shot of the table and the banner we have! :)

Here is Noah workin hard to get his brother home! See Mama had to buy a bag of brownies for Noah! :) He worked hard eating them :)

And here we are with our FIRST ever pretzel from the Sam's concession! LOL He did not want what I brought for him! Don't know know it is so clean to then put in his mouth as he has it against his clothes! heehee

So cute sittin in his stroller eatin and playin with a car!

Finally passed out! Mama feels like she needs to pass out!

It was a long hard day with lots of the good work!!!!!! :) And we raised ALOT of money for my boy!!!!!

Jeremiah sweetie I love you so much. Honey we are working sooo hard to get all the money we need so we can come get you sweetheart! Hang on and catch my kisses in the wind as you wait frogie boy! :) Love Mama!

First trip to Chuck E. Cheeses and news on my other two kiddos too :)

Hi all :)

Tonight we took Noah to Chuck E. Cheeses for the first time and met some old friends there. A great time was had by all :) I must say that Noah choosing tonight to decide he could be FAR away from mom at times was quite disconcerting. CHASING a 2 year old through a VERY crowded Chuck E. Cheese was not so fun. A couple of times he just TOOK OFF! This is so new! He LOVED to big singin puppets :) but not the live chuck e cheese. He watched him from afar. Here are some pics for yall of the night:

This shot is hilarious :) Celeste looks like she is about to die and Noah is grinnin his head off :) I had a wonderful shot of Noah runnin and grinnin but it messed up on my computer and is GONE :( so sad.

here we are investigating food :) Noah was very into the salad bar :) boiled eggs, cheese, bacon bits, little chunks of ham, crackers. He was so there! LOL

playin ball with Jei Jei

hangin with the big boys! (you cant see it but he is standin on TIP TOES to see :) heehee

sliding with daddy

2 seconds that we lasted happy on the ride!

crackers yummo lets eat 2 at once! :) heehee

playin with the big boys!

sittin like a big boy in the booth! :) too cute :) He is sitting on her big bag! :) makes him look so big :)

Noah is doing just wonderfully! He has Speech this morning and did amazing. He said More very clearly while signin it :) He also said ball really well :) He is still a little mimic. He tries to make the sounds we make. so cute

He was climbing all over the place at Chuck E. Cheese. He crawled up steps in the slide thing and that was too cute :) I am amazed when I look at him at what all he can do now and how far he has come :) It is so amazing to watch our kids grown and learn and develop :) So hard to believe I have a 2 year old. Especially since he is so much tinier than all the other two year olds aroudn here! They are huge! Tonight as I was walking across the restraunt I saw a woman carrying a baby with a large elmo bib and I said that is so cute, my son LOVES elmo, he would love that bib. As I walked on to place our order I had this odd feeling and it was like so cool that I could say MY SON this or MY SON that! I HAVE A SON! lol those of you who have been on this journey are like umm duh Tami you have had a son home for 8 months, where have you been? lol but for some reason saying that tonight just brought this overwhelming feeling over me and I was like so incredibly thanful that YES I have a son and YES HE IS HOME! and I have another son waiting! and you know what , he is coming home too! Another miracle is in the works! :) I doubt this is making alot of sense but humor me. lol

My big baby girl Celeste who turns 21 the end of this month has had some cool things this week. She got her drivers lisence! YAY for her :) She really wanted it before her bday and she got it :) She has NO interest in driving as a teen and actually feared it a good while but now she is ready. Now if a car will fall in her lap she will have it made :) heehee She also got her first ever paycheck today :) She got a little part time job for while she is in school to have some money :) She was so excited :) Here is her picture :)

Her hair looks much darker in this picture than it is now that she is tryin to get it to go back to her lighter natural color. It amazes me that my baby girl will be 21 soon! WOW, where does the time go??

I am anxiously awaiting new photo's and updates of Jeremiah. I am told they should be here this week or next week. Praying they come soon and for updates as well as photos. I can't wait to see that little sweet angel! :) We have had so many kind words and folks offering help in different ways it is so wonderful to our hearts :) We will be having a bake sale/candy sale this coming Saturday in front of a local business so we are VERY excited about that. We stepped out in faith and purchased the candy and stuff to bake for the bake sale and are praying to make alot more than what we spent. We are also getting things reorganized and rearranged and stuff here at the house. My mother in law determined with the advise of her doctor to move back to the place she had been for rehab after her surgeries. The doc felt she would do better to do so permanetly with her health the way it is and she decided to do so. It has been odd having only one mother living with us now but we trust that God is in control and she seems VERY happy! She is beating everyone at bingo! :) heehee We have our homestudy update visit coming up next week so we are trying to finish all our spring cleaning, which for me always turns into spring drag everything out and go through it cleaning LOL :) we are gathering things for a big rummage sale as well so we are busy busy. We have several other fundraisers being planned and waiting on call backs to get them finalized. One fun one is called Jumping for Jeremiah! :) I think it will be a blast :) I will share more about it when the place here in town we are having it gets back with me with all the details. Prayerfully tomorow. I have a home and garden fundraising party scheduled in June but will be doing fundraising sheet sales to go with that party beginning soon. We will receive 50 percent of the profit of the total we sell. That is a very generous offer on the company's part and we are quite thankful. I am searchin my house for anything I can sell :) Working on parents night out fundraiser locations and ideas and trying to figure out how to do plate sales with a Noah in tow! :) heehee GOD IS ABLE, right? I am working on a spread the word Giveway for yall to spread the word about Jeremiah, about our online fundraisers and such but I am trying to get a grab this button made to link to the fundraising blog and having trouble with that but stay tuned for that when I get it worked out.
Since I did not have new update pics to share of Jeremiah I thought I would post one of my favorite ones so far again :) So you remember who you are praying for, Here's Jeremiah

My F.R.O.G.I.E BOY! :)

Jeremiah my sweet frogie boy :) Mama loves you so much honey and she and daddy and everyone are working so hard to get you home as quick as we can. We are praying for miraculous turnouts at fundraisers, and for lots of donations to our giveaways and just for anything that will make things move faster so you can get home and we can be a family together :) I can't wait to see you and feel you, and touch you and just watch you sleep in person and stroke your hair. HANG on buddy, we are coming as soon as we can. until then catch my kisses in the wind sweet angel boy.

Cup a Cup a IT FIGURES...

Well, Pand Boy, Mr. Noah FINALLY has the oral skills to drink out of a sippy cup! YIPPEEE! He has decided upon the ONLY kind he can and will use! :) What a big boy :) He is doing so well with it! We still have our bottle and rock rock with mama for nap and bedtime but are using the cup most of the other times. This cup was given to me along the journey and Noah LOVES IT NOW! It is a NUBY and the top is made out of silicone like a bottle nipple material but has a sippy cup spout with the two little holes. So I go off yesterday to buy MORE Magic cups since we now have cups he will use. In all the town I can only find 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGGH apprently NUBY is changing the top to be silicone but a straw like nipple to it. Guess who does NOT like that and won't use that. Guess who will ONLY use the other kind of Nuby that appears they are phasing out! YOU GOT IT! IT FIGURES! lol So we have only 3 cups, now that does not seem like as bad as if we only had 1 but I need him to have more than 3 cups! LOL First off, he threw ONE of the cups out of the shopping basket UNDER shelves at walmart NEVER to be seen again, so umm now its 2 cups! EEEK! I am gonna try another day to see if I can find THE CUP again! LOL Anyway now that I have shared all that here are pics of my baby boy using HIS BIG BOY CUP and trying to use a spork! :) so sweet :)

This was taken the FIRST time he ever actually drank out of it! I had been trying different cups and putting them on his tray with water during meals and so far he would try, get mad and throw it! This specific cup has been thrown before but this day I am sitting there beside him as we were all eating and watching a movie and I hear the sucking sound and I about killed myself to get the camera when I realized he WAS DRINKING from it! :) Go Panda Boy! :)

My sweet man with his cup and spork :)

Look at him really tryin to use the fork :) He is getting sooo big!

another adorable shot!!!!

Jeremiah sweetheart, your big brother is learning so much here at home and he is so ready to start teaching you all he knows! :) EVERY time he sees your picture on the yard sign we have or anywhere he has to stop and kiss you! :) He loves you already! :) Mama and Daddy love you too and are working SO HARD to come up with ideas to raise the money we need to come and get you little froggie boy! :) Until we get there catch my kisses in the wind sweet love!

from my heart!

I wanted to write a bit today from my heart that is overflowing with love and closeness to the Lord today! Recently God has begun making lots of changes in our life, we are currently seeking His Face on what Church He would have us to be in, He has begun our new adoption Journey to Taiwan for Jeremiah :), my mother in law decided to move back to the rehab home where she made so many friends so she has moved out of our home, Celeste has taken a part time job in addition to her college classes, We are praying about opening our home in the fall to a foreign exchange student from Taiwan! Lots of Changes and things goin on in our lives right now. Not all of them have been easy. In the Church change relationships have changed and some of that has been VERY painful, walking into a big Church where I know noone and seeking God's face is a new and scary experience but I know that HE was there so that made it doable! I look at the financialy side of Jeremiah's adoption with my earthly eyes and it seems HUGE! I watch the baby fund NOT move, I watch giveaway fundraisers of donated items barely get any notice, and my human eyes get scared! Easter Sunday we visited a Church around the corner from our house and they sang a special of a song called "Through the Fire" It talks about He never promised that the cross would not get heavy and the hills would not be hard to climb! That when we stand in the valley of decision He will SHOW up and take us through the Fire again! That spoke so much to me at that time as I felt like I was bein hit by so much negativity for being obedient. That same song was sung again as a special this past Wednesday Night and again I felt it a balm from the Lord! Then Today in Church there was a guest preacher from the John Jacobs Power Force Ministry that will be at our Church all week as well as goin into the local school assemblies! Well, this preacher was on fire for God and he was preaching right to me! He spoke about the gift of Faith! And holding God faithful! He spoke about the KNOWLEDGE OF FAITH. That KNOWING that no matter how big the mountain is that GOD IS ABLE! I was balling! Here I sit HOLDING my evidence of Faith, of God is ABLE! I had Noah in my arms. I remember when we began the journey to Noah how I had NO CLUE HOW we would do it all and again and again GOD would show off and we got every penny , every paper, every everything we needed to bring Noah home and God was faithful! :) NO SURPRISE. I remember part way through that Journey I begged God for a sign that Noah was indeed ours and that it was gonna all come and He gave me that sign, the exact sign I asked for! I remembered all that today! As the pastor spoke about speaking things that aren't as if they are, WE DID THAT WITH NOAH! We spoke NOah as our son, the adoption as paid LONG before either was a fact in wordly eyes! God spoke to me today that I need to TRUST HIM and hold Him Faithful to move the mountains and bring Jeremiah home! It does not matter what my earthly eyes see! It does not matter what the world, or doubting folks in my life, or anyone or anything my say. MY GOD IS ABLE. MY GOD LOVES Jeremiah WAY more than we ever could! It is NOT about me being good enough, or worthy enough, or wanting too much by asking for another baby. IT IS ABOUT GOD and WHO HE IS! HE IS FAITHFUL! Through HIM I have the power to speak IN FAITH that Liang-Chung that waits in Taiwan is indeed OUR JEREMIAH HAROLD SISEMORE. and WHEN the adoption is FINAL we WILL travel to pick him up. GOD will do it! GOD will get the glory! And people will be touched, just like with Noah! YES, it can't happen like it did the last time, yes some of those grants are not available anymore, yes some loans are not available this time but that is all details that DO NOT MATTER! I either believe GOD or I dont! I CHOOOSE to HOLD GOD FAITHFUL! I CHOOSE to look on this entire situation with the adoption with eyes of Faith! I CHOOSE to look on EVERY hard thing with eyes of FAITH! God will show up and take me through the fire again! God will have the folks in my life that HE has to be there! I CHOOSE to follow in Him who I have believed! :) When God is for us, who can be against us??

Here is a video of the song Through the Fire :) and below is "I walk by Faith"

Jeremiah Sweetie. Mama and Baba and the ENTIRE family are doing everything we can to get you home QUICKLY! We KNOW God loves you and He is holding you tight till we get there sweet froggie boy! :) WE WILL BE THERE SOON! Till then catch my kisses in the wind sweet man!

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
