Frequent Flyer Miles????
Travel agent just called asking me to ask folks if they would doante frequent flyer miles! UGGGH God is so making me do things that are out of my comfort zone at this point in my life... so I ask .. Does anyone have any frequent flyer miles they would be willing to donate for the us leg of our flight?? Apparently he can get us a good international deal through Chicago but cant get us from here to there without HUGE prices. I know one friend has American Airlines frequent flyer miles but she does not know how many or if hubby would say yes. We need alot of miles to same airline basically! Talk to Golden Rule Travel. They work with missionaries and apparently adoptions qualify for the same humanitarian flights that missionaries qualify for. We were able to get our round trip tickets from DC to Moscow Russia for around $850 round trip and that was last minute.
See if they can help you out and get you a humanitarian fare. Children's Airfare is typically less than half the cost of a normal one way ticket or even a round trip ticket which is sometimes cheaper.
Praying for that money to come in ASAP! God is good! Tami, there are a few non-profit organizations who give interest free adoption loans. Maybe you could borrow this last bit and then continue fundraising afterward to pay it off? Email me if this is something you haven't looked into, I believe I have a few websites you could check out. PRAYING!!!
