UPDATE! Wow what a night!!! God is ABLE!

Hi all :)

I have to share the updates of the day. I spent today gettin a baby photo album ready for my sweet Noah to hold and chew on and look at family pictures :) And I bought him a few clothes and a toy. I get to overnight mail a package to the agency who will deliver it to him as they are leaving for Taiwan on Saturday!! :) It was so neat to get together things and hold them and know my sweet baby boy is goin to touch these very things! :) We took them with us to Church tonight so that after Church we as a body could pray over them. So we get to Church and Bobby and I begin Children's Chuch and part way in my cell phone rings. Now this is unusual during Church so I grab it. It is the adoption agency and the taiwan director is talking to me and she is telling me about Noah's latest medical report. The Fragile X Chromosome Test this time was NEGATIVE!!!!!! She says the words to me "Noah does not have Fragile X syndrome"! I am stunned and excited. We have been praying for his healing as a body so I am soo excited. I mean he had it before and now he doesn't! WOW!!!!! Now, she says he is still considered a special needs/High risk adoption because of the developmental delays and the fact that everyone but one grandmother in his family was mentally challenged on both father and mother's side. Anyways, there are still alot of unknowns as to how this will affect Noah in the long run and as a baby it is impossible to tell, so he may have mental challenges and he may not. Only God knows and we dont care either way. The plans are the same to get him home and begin therapy with him and see where he is and all. Also there is testing and all that can be done in the states that is not available in Taiwan so we will have more answers when Noah is home. BUT, I am standing on the fact that he is healed of Fragile X! We will love him and care for him no matter what diagnosis he has or what he can or can't do. God is so Able! :) So I have to go back into children's Church with all this news! :) I share it all with the kids and Bobby and another teacher in there with us. And am good and wait to tell the rest of the body till later! So after Church I get to announce it to everyone :) and everyone is like PRAISE GOD!!! then we all gather in the sanctuary and open the bag and anoint an item in the bag and the bag and we as a body together pray for Noah! We give thanks to God for the Fragile X beging gone! And we pray over Noah and the adoption and we pray about the finances that are needed to send the agency for Friday that we do not have. We agree to stand in faith for God to move. It was wonderful standing there with our entire Church body that was present and feeling the love and care they all have for us and Noah! :) We are all standing in faith together. Then we all go about visiting and all and several head on home and Bobby goes outside to call a friend he had asked yesterday about borrowing $3000 until our reimbursment grant comes in. The entire time he is outside I am praying (which felt like an eternity) Finally he comes back in and the look on his face is not good so I am telling myself it is ok, God is Able! So Bobby walks up to me and tells me that tomorow afternoon I am to pick up the money from the friend at his business! I am like WHAT?? Are you serious? Are you lyin? Your kidding and am just basically in a stunned kinda shock. Then I screamed and burst into tears! Pastor Leesa starts hollerin what what and so Bobby announces to everyone we got the rest of the payment we needed! :) Everyone is hootin and hollerin and jumpin up and down! It was so amazing! Leesa is huggin me and I am cryin and prayin thankgiving to God! God is so amazing! Such an on time God! :) I would never have bold face ask this friend to borrow the money normally, nor would I have known they had the money for sure, but God knew! God has been speakin to me lately about you have not because you ask not! I am so excited and my heart is beating a thousand miles an hour. Anyway, tomorow I pick up the $3000 check from our friend to the agency and I go to the bank and get a $350 cashiers check for the part of the payment we did have and I will overnight mail a $3350 payment to the agency and the care package for our sweet sweet Noah! :) I am soo soo blessed! :) At this point, as long as nothing unforseen happens, we just need to raise $4000 in the next month for the orphanage donation that must be paid when the adoption is final. Which is in about a month they said maybe a little longer. Then probably 2 weeks after that we will need travel money for airfare, hotels, food etc for 5 to 7 days in Taiwan to pick up our little man! :) It is getting closer and closer and closer! PLEASE continue to be in prayer for the money we need for the rest of all this! Thanks so much for all the prayers yall have been sending up on our behalf! I just HAD to share the updates! Noah sweetie pie! Mommy and Daddy are working so so hard and we are gonna come get you as soon as we can baby boy! I am blowin you kisses in the wind little man! I love you forever baby boy.. Hello everyone :)

Well, we are working on a couple of fundraisers we pray will be very good. We are planning a Christian Benefit Concert on April 11th in Shreveport, LA. We are praying this is our biggest fundraiser to date! PLEASE keep it in prayer. We have about 9 confirmed performers so far! Basically we are asking local Christian talent to donate their performances and then we will take up a Love Offering towards Noah's Adoption during the concert! I plan to have my board up with all the information about Fragile X and about Taiwan and with pics of Noah! :) I have written to Steven Curtis Chapman and Nicole C. Mullen and asked them both to come but have not heard back. I know they are very busy and it is kinda doubtful, but I feel the Lord has been telling me You have not because you ask not, so I ask! If anyone reading this is a Christian performer of any type of Christian music, drama, etc and would be willing to come and donate a performance please email me @ childofmyheart@aol.com :) Also please if you are in the area PLEASE PLEASE get the word out about this! We are still doing our weekly plate sales with the exception of one week while we were out of town for our fingerprint appointment! This past tuesdaywe did Chicken Spaghetti again and raised $116.00. Next week we are doing BBQ pulled pork Sandwiches, baked beans, chips and a dessert. Prices will be $5 for a one sandwich plate and $7 for a 2 sandwich plate. If you know anyone who would to order lunch on Tuesday let us know! :) We are also working on planning a Babysitting fundraiser for April 4th at our Church as well :) This will be that friday evening 6pm till 11 pm. The cost is $10 per child (family maximum of $35) and you send them a sack supper and drink. Please be in prayer for all of these :) Also we are still waiting on word about our application to Shoahannah's Hope for a grant and we are working on a couple other grant possibilities. We covet your prayers on this journey. I KNOW that God is able! I want to share with yall the latest picture we have of our sweet little NOAH! :) He is sitting up now! :)

UGGH I cant get blogger to cooperate! I will try and post it again later or maybe on the side bar thing I can get it to work rather than in a post!

PASSPORTS ARE HERE!!!!!!!

Well, that was very very quick! I just answered the door to the mail lady with Express Mail packages that have our Passports! :) I left Bobby's for him to get the joy of opening when he wakes up to get ready for work tonight. He is on nights for half this month. But I have mine in my hand! I am so excited! I have never even seen a passport before and now I have one with my name on it! :) The picture is not good but who cares! I am goin to Taiwan! God is so increadibly good! Seein this passport makes it feel even more real! :) Now I am free to travel to Taiwan and get my son! Well, as soon as the taiwan courts say I can! lol But still I can leave the country! heehee I NEVER would have thought I would WANT to leave the country! I cant wait to get on that plane! YES those who know me can faint now that I said that. YES I am still scared a bit but OH MY GOSH I get the blessed opportunity to travel to my son's birth country and SEE his country, meet the people who have cared for him, see where he has lived from birth! I get to hold all that in my heart and pictures and share it all with Noah when he is older :) What a blessing! So even though I am scared I know the plane is my friend! LOL :) I am still in shock how fast it happend! less than a week techinically because we applied at like 4 in afternoon last friday and it is in my hands by about noon today! :) YIPEEE!!!

We have sold 34 plates so far for the Chicken Spaghetti sale on Tuesday! :) I still have the VA hospital to turn in orders and they ordered from 20 to 30 plates the last 2 times. Prayin that God will lead a few more sales our way too :)

Working on planning the big rummage sale. My friend Mamma Helen has said we can have it at there Church since it is closer than our Church and we wont have to spend so much on gas driving it all out to our Church. She is going to try and take off and help trasport stuff and help with the sale :) YIPEE :) Prayin we can get alot of folks to help :)

Happenings

Well, I found out today that the grant we received is to be dispursed to us AFTER all fees are paid and Noah's adoption is final. Sooo, that means it wont be a help in raising the money at this point, unless we can find a source to borrow the $4000 with the knowledge that they will receive it back as soon as adoption is final. So may prayers needed on that front. We are so blessed and thankful for the grant but a little taken aback that it does not go towards the fees we need to raise now. Tomorow we have a small Sloppy Joe Sale our of our kitchen. Everyone is just too busy to do a bunch of big sales so I will need to do a buncha buncha smaller ones. This one is ending up even smaller than I thought it would be but I reckon that is ok. It must be the way God wanted it for my first sale with just Bobby and I. God so worked it that Bobby is off tomorow! YIPEEE :) Thank you Jesus! I will have his help :) We have sold $38 plates and 7 of them are double sandwhich plates so that is good. It is not alot of profit but every bit helps and alot of the supplies (plates, picnic packs, etc we have plenty to do next week sale as well so next week will be much more profit. All we will have to purchase should be the actual food :) The plates will have sloppy Joe or 2, baked beans, chips, and a homemade chocolate cake with powder sugar dusting :) I pray that folks are pleased and so we will have repeat customers for next week. Next week we are doing a Chicken Spaghetti plate with italian green beans, garlic bread and a dessert. We are hopin for it to be a bit larger of a sale. We are tryin to work out getting some help to do a rummage Sale. We have alot of stuff so that is good. Any ideas yall have for raisin funds let me know. :)



Noah my sweet baby boy, mommy and daddy are trying so hard to get everything done and raise all the money and come and get you :) We CAN'T WAIT to hold you in our arms and hug and kiss you and pray over you and just spend time playing with you. The ups and downs in a day

Well, today has had many ups and downs. More ups than downs though, thank you JESUS! \o/ :) Bobby and I and Samuel had a day of adoption errands :) We had to go and make alot of copies and get some things ready to mail out :) We went to the bank and opened a Sisemore Adoption Fund Donation Account! That was so neat to have an account just for fund for bringing our sweet Noah home :) I am not real sure how others are able to donate to it but I know they can. It is at the Barksdale Federal Credit Union in Bossier City, LA. Folks would say they want to donate to The Sisemore Adoption Fund #13634733. That was neat to get that up and running. We also had to get some things notarized and all so we got all that done :) We went and dropped off some Sloppy Joe Plate Sale Flyers at the DMV and also left on at the Credit Union. Prayin we can sell some plates to some of them :) We went to the post office and got our passports applied for and did expediated services so PRAY they come quickly :) We will need them in order for our paperwork to go to Taiwan. We mailed off a good amount of what is left for our Dossier to our agency :) We still need a few more papers that we are waiting to get back from the different places and we need to get our pictures together and all :) All of that went very well. We also mailed our homestudy into the USCIS. When we got home we had gotten something from USCIS and I was soo very excited because I thouht maybe it was our fingerprint appointment. No such luck. :( It was our I-600A back. They said we sent it to the wrong office. Now when I went to their website before I ever sent it in the website told me to send it to that office so I am totally upset and confused! ugggh Especially since our homestudy is now on its way to the wrong place. They gave me an address to send it to now and I am prayin that is the right place. Bobby wants to call and talk to them on Monday before we send anything off again. So that was kinda a down. I am tryin VERY hard to not let it get me down or worry. Also when I checked the status of timeframe with the place where they say we are to file they are months behind the other one. I am leaving it all in YOUR hands Jesus! Thank you Lord that YOU know where it is to go and that we need it back to travel :) Then this evening I hear from our agency that we have received a $4000 grant towards adopitng Noah! \o/ Praise you Lord Jesus!!!! Hallelujah! God is so awesome! That is goin to be a HUGE help towards our boy! :) I am soo excited and am doin a happy dance :) We did here the orphange fee is goin up but are not sure how that will affect Noah's case so we have ALOT of prayin to do in all of this! Then on top of that good news :) I got new pics of my boy!!!!! :) So presenting Noah WesLee Sisemore's newest picture! He is a few days shy of 9 months old in this shot!

Isn't he the most precious creature you ever did see???? :) I am so in love :) He looks like he is very inquisitive about the camera. I think he is sayin, humm how do I get them to give me that let me play with that thing! :) heehee Being able to look upon this face made my entire day! :) He does not look like he has grown alot this past month or changed a whole lot but it is another picture :) another connection with my sweet little man! :)

Noah is 9 months old today!

Well, my baby boy is 9 months old today! I pray he had a good day :) I was told that we should get some new pics soon and last month they took pics on the 20th! So I am prayin to get some tomorow :) Well, I guess Monday since the agency wont be open on Sunday. Please keep our little man in your prayers. We are prayin so so hard that we have him in our arms in time for his first Birthday in April! God is Able!!!!!!
