Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Well, today was
And I am telling you it was one HOT day!!!!!  90 on May 1st!  I am worried about next weekend!  eek.  But, the day was amazing though hot.  We had alot of donations for baked good, some by people I did not even know that had heard about it from one person or another!  We ended up raising $164.70!!!!!  That is PROFIT after expenses!  GOD is flipping amazing! :)  I am sooo thrilled that things went so well! :)  And if that was not enough about 2 hours after we got home from the bake sale I got a call asking if I could do an overnight babysitting job and they would pick the kiddos up by 9 am so we can still go to a Church service so I was thrilled!  That means a bit more money coming into the Jeremiah fund this week! :)  It has been a good week of fundraising between the Plate Sale , today's bake Sale and now the babysitting :)  Which is going wonderfully with the 2 youngest that I am keeping but the 2 older kids 3 and 5 are acting up while SUPPOSE to be going to sleep but overall a great night :)

So, here are a few shots from the Bake Sale today of silliness.  It was a frantic morning, the banner is missing, we forgot the posterboard and the camera but Celeste got a few shots with her cell phone :)  So here you go on that :

This is Ashley with one of my brownie cakes I made!  :)  She took it out of the round pan and ate it like this!  LOL She is the owner of the store that hosted us!

my sweet Panda Boy :)

boredum causes strange behavior! LOL  Bobby put his glasses on Noah!  He looks so odd with them on to me!

Being so hot at one point when a friend was up there I jokingly said I should have brought an umbrella to keep the sun off, and her 12 year old Marissa runs to their van and gets me an umbrella :)  So part of the time while they were there I had a bit of shade!  At one point I had Noah and his buddy drake under it with me, but Noah kept running out.  Did not understand the blessing of shade!

So, I am anxiously awaiting Fedex to arrive with our plane Tickets.  I know they went out Thursday 3 day fedex so I am not sure if that will be Sunday or Monday!  The bank issues continue as now there is way too much money in my account.  I booked the hotel in Tainan and my balance went down appropriately, today it is back up more than it was to begin with!!  I am one confused person.  PRAYING they get this all figured out quickly.  As for the flights we leave here on June 4th to drive 3 hours to dallas where we will fly from there to LA and then from La on to Taiwan.  We will arrive in Taiwan on Sunday June 6th Taiwan time early am.  Then will take the train down to Jeremiah's town :)  We will have him in our arms June 7th at 10:30 am Taiwan Time!  That will be 9:30 pm on June 6th Lousiana time! :)  We will arrive back in US June 10th but not back to dallas till June 11th and then a 3 hour drive home!  I have cried so many tears over the flying out of dallas rather than home thing.  It kills me that Jeremiah will not a homecoming with folks at the airport :(  It will bother me forever I just know it but it cant be helped.  At this point we just need to get him home!  The decision to fly out of dallas and not here was nto totally a money issue but a fligth issue, they could not find a flight from here that connected to the dallas to LA flight with seats on it!  So we just drive and park our van at airport and go on.

I am so thankful that the Lord is providing ways for us to raise money!  I am praying for more and more ways and I am REFUSING to give in to fear that would say it is impossible to raise enough in time!  I WILL NOT, I CAN NOT even think that.

Lord I will put my trust IN YOU!  GUIDE and direct me in the final leg of this adoption Journey, lead and guide us in all areas Lord!

Hang on little buddy!  It is coming so soon!  God's timing is perfect even when it doesnt feel that way!   Catch my kisses in the wind and KNOW my love for you grows each second that we wait for you!

Hi all :)

I had such an excaperating day to end and very difficult week. But I am praising God because the verse He gave me this morning I so needed today and it was nice to know it was special just for me today! We have Plane tickets paid for!

This was quite hard to get. Took 4 travel agents jumping through hoops to finally get us on flights that connected to anywhere near where we live! We will have to drive 3 hours to the airport and then pay to park the van while gone at DFW BUT we have seats and we are GOING TO TAIWAN!  :) YES it was horribly more expensive than we could have ever imagined
but I just KNOW God has a plan! My Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills so HE can handle this! :) And in the midst of the tickets being booked the travel agent accidentally hit a wrong button and overcharged by $1000 and my account went overdrawn and it has been a bear trying to get it all
fixed! THAT is a large portion of the difficult day. But on to praises!! The only way the flights work is for us to have a 12
hour layover at LAX on the way back. With Jeremiah's health as it is I did not think an airport for 12 hours after a long flight was a good thing for him so we knew we were gonna have to get a room. Soo, I went and started researching hotels and all and posted on facebook and got some opinions and all and then used Priceline to book a room knowing I needed to stay under
what we raised at this weeks Plate Sale, so I put in 3 and half star or better and I did the name your own price and I said $60, fully thinking they would come back higher but giving it a whirl! IT TOOK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So including tax it is $76 and some change! This weeks sale raised $80! One of the things using priceline did was make me TRUST because you do not
get to pick your hotel, you just put how many stars is minimum you want and give you the one they want. So it was really neat to me that we got the Crowne Plaza at LAX!

It is a really nice hotel and I had looked at it earlier and liked the looks and the rooms were MUCH more expensive than
what we paid on priceline! and for MORE PRAISES...The tickets took almost everything we had raised so far but there was a bit left. Knowing for complete positive our dates and all I decided to check the hotels and all again to make sure there were still rooms available! I started with the first hotel we will stay at in Jeremiah's Birth City! It is an amazing hotel and the hotel we brought Noah to the first night as well so we are familiar with it and have know from the get go how expensive it is. So I am looking on the site to make sure it is not booked for the 2 nights we need since so many days were booked when I looked before and GUESS WHAT I SEE??? A SPECIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A PAID IN ADVANCE at booking special! SOOOO, I booked and PAID for the 2 nights we will be at that hotel for about 75 dollars a night LESS than what we paid per night TWO YEARS AGO when went for Noah and it was off
season then! GOD IS SO FLIPPIN AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in shock that we have 3 nights hotel PAID and our TICKETS PAID! We still need to raise money for the other hotel, trains, cabs, airport pickup, food, Jeremiah's Visa, and emergencies!  PLEASE be praying as we have septic issues and some other things going on that we are trying to deal with as
well, and with us having to drive to dallas we have to have a few things done on the van to make sure it is good and all and just today the brakes started squeeking!   So a brake service at least is in order if not more AND big thing , the gas gage does NOT work! It is so frustrating, I am always scared we will run out of gas! but the thought of running out on the way to or from Dallas really freaks me out so pray miraculously it will start working again or we can figure out how to KNOW we are good on gas! LOL It is hard to even budget for gas because we have no clue
about gas mileage and all!

Please pray tomorrow we have a bake sale! It is suppose to be very bad weather but the store we are having it at has said we can still have it inside, which is amazing, but I worry it will hurt attendance if weather is bad, and also then we can't have folks with signs out by the road or anything if it is storming. Please pray it goes well, we at least get back the money I put into it and everyone stays safe during it! :)  Also pray for our craft booth at the festival on May 8th!  Pray we can get donations of items to sell! :)

And as always please be praying for Jeremiah!  The reason for it all!  It kills me this is taking so long and I was so upset our date was so far behind those who got ruling around the time we did, BUT we are still short of money and so I know it is such a good thing it is a month later, but for Jeremiah's sake having to wait another month hurts my heart!  I am trying so hard NOT to be scared about money and about luggage and figuring out how to get it all to work and not have to pay to Check to much and on and on, and then I remember the verse God gave me this morning...

"Peace, I leave you with...Do NOT let your heart be troubled, DO NOT BE AFRAID!!!!!" John 14:27 HOLDING ONTO THIS PROMISE and TRYING to trust God and NOT be troubled or afraid. $2500 is nothing for God! Septic issues, luggage fees, etc.  are NOTHING for GOD! :)

Jeremiah my sweet frogie boy!  I love you more than words can say.  I miss you so much and the I think how do I miss someone I have never met.  Then I know in my heart I have met you.  You did not grow under my heart but over the past 13 plus months you have grown IN MY HEART!  YOU are a part of me and so to not be together I do miss you.  I ache to pick you up and hold you.  I shared one of your pictures with an old friend the other day and in the picture you are stretching your neck and look like you are looking for something.  My old friend said "He is looking for YOU!"  I pray in some way God has spoken it to your heart that you have a Mommy and a Daddy and a Jei Jei and a Gege waiting on you and working so hard to bring you home!  Your Gege Noah learned to say Didi for you this week!  That is now what he is calling you his little brother! :)  We talk alot about riding on the airplane to go and get you!  Noah is so excited!  I can't wait to see my two sons TOGETHER! :)  Your big sister is dreaming of the day she can dance with you and sing to you, just as mommy and daddy dream of rocking you and singing to you and just getting to know all there is to know about you!  Hang on tight little man, we are coming as soon as we can!  Until I get there, catch my kisses in the wind!

Nesting Fun! :)

Well, I am officially nesting to the maximum degree!  :)  lol  Things I have wanted done for the longest time I am now doing and asking others to get a move on with :)  Celeste said she wanted to put Jeremiah's name on the wall :)  Before we painted the nursery before Noah came , she put tape on the wall in shape of Noah's name and then after the walls dried we pulled it off and  so Noah's name is on the wall in white!  I am sure some of you remember.  So we have been debating how we would do Jeremiah's now that the walls are dark blue!  So Celeste picked out some green paint and made painter's tape stencils to put Jeremiah's name on the wall in a kinda artsy way!  So here are some pics from that :)

Celeste painting :)
After it dried this is pulling painters tape down.
Last of tape coming off!
There you have it folks! :)

Noah snitching Jei Jei's hat!
What , me???

Look at that grin :)

Check out how he fell asleep hanging OVER the chair side! LOL  Had to get a picture before I moved him for fear he would fall out!

We were blessed with a new crib for Jeremiah! We have not had a chance to put it together till tonight so we did so :)

It was quite an adventure putting it togeter! :)  one hole was not drilled right and we had to figure out how to get it right with no drill ourselves!  The new cribs to me are strange compared to old cribs.  LOL

Noah playing while we worked on crib!  see the cars!  he lines things up ALOT!

another shot of my boy playing! :)

its all in together!  YIPPEE :)

a frogie bed! :)

That laying over the side rail is a wall haging that will be going up!  I will get more pics as the room progresses.  We have frog items for wall, shelves, etc. and stuff frogs galore!  I need a pet net and such.  some things will have to wait till we are home, some we can do now :)

Celeste took this picture unbeknownst to me, but it to me says waiting!  I am looking into his empy bed thinking about him a world away!  My friend Scott who got his ruling right around the time we did is in TAIWIAN NOW with his son, and we are over a month later going.  I had no clue that it would be such a long time for our dates, and into High season and all that, but God di so I HAVE to trust God to pull it all together!  $3000 is nothing for God! I just know that come June 4th, scared to death or not I will drive 3 hours to get on a plane and start a journey across the ocean to my baby boy! :)  Where is money coming for hotels, trains, cabs, visa, food, etc...  ??? I HAVE NO CLUE!  But my Father does! :)

made this today for my desktop wallpaper! :)

This is the center picture in the collage wallpaper :)  I love this!!!

Jeremiah, my sweet angel boy.  We are having such fun getting ready for you :)  Mommy was on the phone today with Shriners about you, and daddy and I put your crib together today! :)  I can't wait till you are laying in your crib while I am cooking supper for you in the kitchen outside your room! :)  We have airline tickets on hold for you buddy today they were partially paid for but as with everything it seems in this journey it did not go smoothly and even after telling 2 separate people, they would not let him charge all the ticket price, so mommy will call credit card company and bank tomorow!  I can't wait to have the tickets in my hand!  It was so wonderful to look at an itenerary today with YOUR name on it :)  Hang on tight just a bit longer Jeremiah, we are coming... until we get there, catch my kisses in the wind!

I am so blessed that several work at home moms with businesses have decided that they want to help bring Jeremiah home!  And so we have MULTIPLE fundraisers now going on :)  Please check each out and see if there is anything your family can use :)
First is my friend Kim at Kuddly Kreations!  She says ANY purchase in the month of my that puts for Sisemore Adoption Fundraiser in the comments she will give 20 percent of it to Jeremiah :)
so that sparked my friend Heather over at Milburn Mercantile to offer the same deal.  ANY purchase in the month of May that you tell her is for Sisemore Adoption will earn 20 percent for Jeremiah :)

Also our Discovery Toys fundraiser by my friend Maggie is still going and it is going NOW :)  Her site is for DISCOVERY TOYS  :)  Be sure to follow that link at that the cart says Maggie Ham or Margaret Ham when you purchase and be sure and put that it is for Jeremiah's adoption :)

Also don't forget our Frogie Blankets Giveaway, Picture is on the sidebar and the chipin to enter the giveaways is above :)  one time in the drawing for each $5 donation :)

This saturday May 1, for you local folks we will be having a bake sale at Beautiful Boutique in Bossier :)  Please pray that it goes well and that Beautiful Boutique will be blessed with extra business because they have allowed us to have the sale!

and Next Saturday May 8th we have secured a spot at the Poke Salad Festival and will be selling Adoption bracelets, sonic cards and PRAYERFULLY some craft items if I can get some things donated!  If you sew and want to make things to help, or anything you have that you would like to donate PLEASE let me know :) email me at  PRAYING that goes well! :)  We had wanted to do cokes and baked goods but the fees and insurance were too high to make it worthwhile.

Please be praying as we have a Ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, bread and dessert sale on Thursday!

We need to raise over $3000 still so PLEASE storm heaven and share our fundraisers with anyone who might help, also you can donate on our 100 Good wishes if you want.  Even if it is only $5 :)  would love to hear your good wish and see a family picture to print to put in Jeremiah's book of families who helped bring him home :)  The link to that is above on the blog also :)  Just click the picture!

Jeremiah's Story- the last leg home

My new friend Gigi over at Charming Station that did our embroidery fundraiser for us before, has made and donated another set to help raise funds for Jeremiah! :)  LOOK:

Special Sets

Jeremiah's Story- the last leg home

We first told you Jeremiah's story in February. Please click here if you missed it.

The time has finally come to bring Jeremiah home. We helped to raise more than $1,000 with our first fund raiser for Jeremiah earlier this year. Tami and her husband are scheduled to fly to Taiwan on June 7th to pick him up. With the new baggage fees and higher summer prices, they have discovered that they don't have enough to cover all of the airplane fares and related expenses.

If you liked the previous set of stylish cats, we have the perfect companion set for you. This new set has six additional cats in the same style as the first set we did for Jeremiah and this set also includes 6 text sayings about cats. The money raised here will go toward the airfare and other expenses for bringing Jeremiah home.

Things did get a bit confused with the payments and Paypal receipts going directly to Tami last time, so we are using our regular shopping cart here in order to get you the designs as soon as possible. We'll send the donations on to Tami for you.

This set is specially priced and the money raised will be donated to bringing Jeremiah home - the final leg of the trip! This wonderful artwork is from Clip Art and Scrap

Kisses in the Wind

I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
