Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

THE FIRST DAY of THE FIRST YEAR that....

Today is THE FIRST DAY of THE FIRST YEAR that Noah will spend the ENTIRE year with me, with his entire family! :) I am overwhelmed today by this! :) There will not be a day in this year that Noah was WAITING for us or we were WAITING for Noah! He will be MY SON EVERY day this year :) YIPEEE :) Just had to post about that!

Noah had a pretty good day today even though he is still not completley back to normal! :) I got the cutest picture of him on my cell phone today when I put him in the high chair! HE CLAPPED! heehee :) He knew he was getting food!

heehee That boy truly loves JUNK food :( It is a true battle. If he sees a french fry of any kind he will refuse to eat anything and SCREAM trying to get you to give him fries. You can't give him a little of this and a little fry. He wont eat anything but the fry. :( Also cookies, crackers, and candy! The new thing now is if he sees ANYONE's stocking he will point at it and scream! that happend after ONE peice of reeces! He is a smart boy! He knows what is in them now. He will point at the shelf where his gerber graduates are and scream! If he sees a yellow bag in the store he assumes it is gerber and HIS. It is quite a scene! Trying VERY hard to get him to eat a balance of things but he is so picky and seems to ONLY like cookies and crackers and junk :( excpet yougart. HE LOVES the yobaby yougart! :) I am trying to find out how to research how much calories he needs in a day, and like a sample normal menue with times and such. I worry I am not doing right.

We were blessed today to be "kidnapped" by some dear friends and taken to eat at IHOP! Noah's FIRST trip to IHOP on his first day of 2009! I was quite impressed that the children's menu had talapia and some other healthy options! :) Noah will get about 3 meals out of it but that is ok :) He saw the fries with the Talapia and some on other plates and he would eat nothing but fries :) I did manage to fool him a bit. I broke up fries, and fish, and some tomatoes and put them all there together and put some grated cheese! He LOVES cheese like his mama and when he would try to get the cheese or fries he accidentally got some other food too! :) heehee He will eat the rest of the fish when there are NO FRIES in sight! We brought home doggie bag for him :) Here is a video of a bit of the evening at IHOP! :) When it got really fun Celeste quit taping :) You can see Noah pretty good in it so I thought y'all might enjoy it :)

I wanted to thank ALL of y'all who have followed us in 2008! Who prayed for us, cried with us, rejoiced with us, sweated with us over the money. Helped in any way towards bringing Noah home. I have SO MANY friends from this blog and this adoption experience :) I am so blessed. It is so nice to know and follow along on y'alls walk with Noah's roomies! And I ask you to be in prayer for Breelyn Chia-ling as she comes HOME this month! I am so excited for Holli and her family :) It is amazing how CLOSE you can become to people when you walk this journey together but so FAR apart!

Thank you also to our Church family and our kinfolk! :) We are so blessed to have you each in our lives and Noah is beyond blessed to have all yall :)

Special Happy New Year Wishes to Aunt Liz and Uncle Andy and cousins Katie and Kristen, Uncle Ricky and Aunt Nancy and cousins Ricky and Krystal, Uncle Johnny and Aunt Carole and cousins johnny, kayla, darla , and Ronnie Joe. I believe they are all following along on the blog now! :) And Also to Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Harold (Fondly known to Noah now as Pawpaw! ) Noah does not have a living grandfather and Uncle Harold gave me away at my wedding because he was more a daddy to me anyway so it is only fitting he is Noah's Pawpaw! Anyway HAPPY NEW YEAR to EVERYONE! We wish you a year of love and blessings in our Lord Jesus!

WE send you kisses in the wind!

Will you Marry Me??

Four Years ago tonight my Binky Boo (aka Bobby, my hubby) stood up at our Church's new year's eve talent show portion of the evening and proposed to me in front of the entire Church! :) This began an amazing adventure that as I look back over the past 4 years I am in shock at all God has done and the joy Bobby has brought to mine and Celeste's lives! and now Noah's too :) I never knew romance was for real, that it could really exist and BOY was I in for a shock with my courtship with Bobby. He treated me like a queen! He still does now though not to the same level but only because of time and money I beleive! Tonight that sweet man called me on the phone from work and said the same words to me again! :) I hate we are apart tonight but I know we are close in heart! Bobby has changed my world and I KNOW he is a gift from God to me and to Celeste and Noah! :) I can't even begin to express how wonderful it is to have a GODLY husband who tries SOOO hard to give us a good life, who spends vacations going to Children's Camp for a week with our Church kids, who on top of working 2 jobs still helps plan lessons, lockins, outings, etc for our Children's ministry, plays with our son, works on teaching our daughter to drive and spending time with her, and helps me with the house to excess when I am sick. He loves me and I can't tell you why but I thank God above he does and that he loves our kids!!! I dedicate this post tonight on the anniversary of my proposal to the BEST husband and father there could ever be! Here are a few pictures to share! :) I hope you enjoy them and if you have a minute PLEASE lift my sweet binky boo up in prayer to the throne of God!

Here is a montage of our wedding photos done by a dear friend of our family! Bobby gave me the wedding of my life that I had waited over 30 years for and had secretly dreamed of but been too scared to really hope for!

My Binky Boo! :) Off to work Christmas 2006. When Bobby works on holidays he ALWAYS makes sure to somehow be with us as much as possible!

This is the spot that Bobby first proposed to me the first time LOL when I said I can't aswer you yet! It was very very soon after meeting and he knew then I was who he would marry. He also asked to kiss me the here and I said NO. poor guy! THANK GOD he didn't give up on me :)

Here we are on our wedding day again.
just playing :) took on the cell phone :)

Playing with our son. I know you can't see Noah but the picture is so good of Bobby I had to keep it :)

Thanksgiving 2008 at "Uncle Ricky's" home! :) "Aunt Carol" took this picture with our camera If I remember right! :) THANK you Carol!

Daddy and Noah sleeping! :) This is also on our Thanksgiving trip at "Aunt Liz's house" :) aren't they sweet :)

I thank God that I have a man I do not have to BEG to go to Church. Bobby wants to be there and gets so upset when work prevents it! He was as anxious as I to dedicate Noah back to the God who gave him to us! :)

Great Shot! :) I LOVE how his eyes light up when he really smiles!!! This was actually on our trip to Jackson to go and have USCIS fingerprints done for the adoption of Noah! :)

This is Bobby, Celeste and I in Dallas at the Galleria Mall! This was the hardest week of my life! When we took my baby girl to college and had to leave her! I did not think I would survive the pain but with Bobby I did and I can tell you alone I never would have made it! The picture is very grainy but I love it :) Unfortunatly not print quality :(

Bobby, Noah and I walking at "Uncle Ricky's" to see all the animals! :) I ADORED this day! I wish we were close enough to go out there and walk and spend time outside like that alot more often! :)

Bobby and Noah! MY MEN!!!! :) Aint the gorgemous???!!!!??? :)

Celeste and Bobby! :) This was at the car wash the children's Church had to help fundraise for Noah's adoption! :) LOVE LOVE this shot! :)
Another shot of my men! :)
Bobby and I outside St. Lucy Center on Gotcha Day! :) Taken by our dear friend Jackie! :) We were so blessed to meet and spend time with them on our trip! :)

This is Bobby, Noah and I at St. Lucy's Center orphanage in Tainan, Taiwan on the day we were gifted with our baby! Over 3 years of praying and waiting for our baby from God but oh boy what an angel He gave us :) THANK YOU JESUS you brough Bobby and I together so Noah could be in our forever family! :)
I may question myself alot on if I am being a good mama or not but I never question Bobby being a good dad! Most men his age would not want to start a young family but Bobby felt as called as I did, he had longed for it even longer than I had. He does all he can to be an amazing daddy!!!
I am crying as I type this post. When I first met Bobby I was so scared I wanted to run! A friend said to me, its ok, you never have to see him again! PRAISE GOD that did NOT happen! :)
Bobby, I love you more than you will ever know. I am trying to be the wife that God would have me to be to you though I can never be the wife you deserve I am trying! I LOVE YOU!

Wawa and first bad owie

Noah has been doing amazingly well in alot of areas lately and we are even pretty sure he is talking! :) He says dada alot, though not always for bobby, but he does it definitly any time he is around bobby. He also is making what sounds like jei jei for Celeste. This is amazing and I am excited it really appears Noah is talking. Well, I have been a bit down that he is not saying mama or anything like it or anything at all for me. Well, the past couple days he has been making some sounds and I kinda wondered, is he trying to say mama? Well, then I am like I am trying to convince myself of something that isnt. So last night I rocked Noah and put him down bout 9 and by 11:30 he was WIDE awake and screaming! I was not quite sure what is going on. This is the 2nd night he has done this. The night before he was up most all night and unless I held him a certain way with me he screamed. Well, to keep him from thinking it was time to get up up I rushed out of the room to grab wipes and was gonna change him in the crib in case that was our upset. Well, as soon as I set foot passed the crib he was running across the crib, arms in air SCREAMING like in petreified fear "WAWA WAWA" I stopped and scooped him up and hugged him so tight and he stopped crying and then grinned at me! well obvisouly we are awak and happy to have mama! I am CONVINCED he was calling mama in his way. So I am pretty convinced I am wawa! lol who would have thought. As I later rocked him in the bed with me I cried because it is just so wonderful to think he is calling me something I PRAY. I am having doubts again but I was pretty convinced last night that was what he said. He did not sleep much last night either and I am not sure what is going on with that, though it was better than the previous night!

My little panda boy is definitly getting a mind of his own and as he has been sick and all his nose is running constant so I am wiping it with wipes and all. Well, NOAH does NOT care for this and so day before yesterday he decided to RUN FROM ME! uggh first time this has happend. Well, he ran, tripped and smacked the corner of our couch on the bottom and lets just say it is VERY hard. I was petrified cuz his head jerked back! Ok, just another 20 years added on to my age is all! His neck seems fine but his cheek and eye are not. Almost immediatly the cheek bruised up and by the next morning the eye did too. His first BAD owie! His first BOY injury! I have been told to get use to this because with boys there will be alot more. Not so sure how much I like my baby being hurt MORE :( ugggh I tried to get a good shot of it so you can see it but he is not cooperating and it is not showing well in photo but here it is

Can you see the redish bruise on the cheek close to his eye?
Another shot of it here. It is now bruised kinda lightly black under the eye. like major circle under the eye

I know this is a blurry horrible shot and can't see the owie at all but I love the grin :) He is TRYING to keep me from taking his picture and finding it quite funny! :) lol
Noah is definitly into climbing and in addition to climbing ON everything he is also climbing under and in everything not just the coffee table anymore :) Here he is giving the exersaucer a new role :)
You can't tell but he is just a laughing :)

now he is trying to STAND up on the bottom of it! lol Guess he is doing some science :) heehee
We (Panda Boy and Wawa) send you blessings and KISSES in the Wind!

CHRISTMAS with NOAH

Sorry for the delay in getting all this up but we have been some sick folks round here. Celeste, Noah and I spent the day after Christmas in a clinic and ER waiting from 1pm till 11:30pm. We have bronchial flu here and I am wheezing. I am still feeling really yucky so if this does not make since that is why.
Here is Noah Christmas Eve Day :) This shot was just so adorable to me I had to share :)

Here is Noah opening his Christmas Eve Gift. The reindeer jamas! :)

Here is Celeste (aka Jei Jei's) reaction to her Christmas Eve Gift!!!
Here is Noah and I while I read the night before Christmas off Nannie's stocking. Daddy is at work at the troop so he is on the phone! :) Jei Jei is the photographer. He listened so intently :) He really likes to be read too and I love it! :)
Here is Noah's Elmo Stocking all ready for him while he is sleeping away :) I took some shots right before I went to bed :)

Here is the living room with gifts, Santa for Noah and Celeste and their stockings! The grown up stockings are not in this shot. Ours were on chairs and couch.

Here is Jei Jei stocking and Santa! The biggest santa item is in the bag with the tree! :) Daddy wanted it to be intensified by having to unwrap it :)

Here is Noah's Santa! :) I so wanted this Christmas to be amazing for him to in some way make up for last year. Of course I pray the biggest thing for him is having a family that adores him. I SO PRAY he knows and believes how much we love him and how hard I am trying to be a good mommy to him.

This is the first shot of Noah as I am carrying him out of the bedroom Christmas Morning! :) See the reindeer on the feet of the jammas?? :) He was quite overwhelmed and unsure what to do at first!

Here he is when he finally let me put him down. See the hand? He has spotted Elmo and is reaching for him :) so cute :)

Here he is givin one of the elmo's a hug! :)
Here he is with the airplane :) I so wanted him to have this little toddler plane set since he traveled home on an airplane this year :) He loves it :)
Here he is with one of the biggest hits. It is a little play table! HE LOVES this thing! :) I mean he kept going back to it when we would try to show him other things :) so cute :)
And Chef Noah loves his kitchen! :) Spends almost as much time playing with this as that little activity table :)
Daddy and Noah! :) Daddy's first Christmas with a son!
Jei Jei checking out her Santa :) She loves the animals that you press a foot and they sing :) and she LOVES penguins :)
Noah really wanted these things to be HIS!!! :) heehee
Here is Jei Jei as Noah looks on :) She is opening her biggest gift from Santa :) A router so we have wireless and she can use her laptop at the house :) Now if we can just figure out how to hook it up and also convert the big pc to work with it! EEEK!
Now on to the stockings! :)
Noah finally gets to see what is in Elmo :)
First bite of Reeces Christmas Tree :)
Ok, as I said we are all sick. This was just too cute not to snap, but also GROSS !!! Chocolaty snotty Noah! and I cleaned all of it off right after the picture :)
Jei Jei gets into her stocking :)

Noah thinks Daddy needs help with his stocking :)
here he is lookin at and listening to his play elephant play music :)
opening the first wrapped gift of the morning :)

Wait, is there more?? :) heehee checkin that bag good :)

Going in after it! :) heehee

We wore him out with all the santa and gift giving and I was trying to get the dressing in the oven before I rocked him for a nap after his lunch. Well, as you can see mamma did not move fast enough!

Here we sit around the Christmas Supper table! I so wish I knew how to use timer so Jei Jei was in the shot too :)
That beautiful face :)

Noah is scared of his zebra and will not ride on it but Celeste puppy gizmo will :) heehee
My babies on their first Christmas as siblings! :) to bad they are both so sick :(

but not too sick to play on and off :) isnt he adorable :)
another snotty face but so beautiful :)

I know I look dreadful but I ADORE this shot of us playing :)

mamma trying so hard to get him to play on the zebra I just knew he would love! :) and he loves it just not to ride :) He wants off immediatly when I tried to put him on it Christmas Night after things had settled down some

Here he is trying to sit on it like a chair.

again with the zebra :) loves to make the music play but wont ride him :)

and finally I got a shot of him climbing where he was safe enough to leave for a minute :) LORD HELP ME now that he wants to climb!

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
