Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Celebration of Life

Well, apparently I have used all the free storage with blogger so I either have to buy it or find other ways to share pictures :(  ugggh.  Anyway, yesterday we had Jeremiah's Belated Birthday's Party for is first and second birthdays he was still in Taiwan.  It was in my heart a celebration of his LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!  It was bittersweet at times and I had a harder time than I expected too.  I try on a normal basis not to think too much about prognosis and the possibilities and such but for some reason yesterday it kept coming through my mind that what if this is his only birthday party.  I DO NOT believe that, I have FAITH that he is going to do amazing and grow into a man and shock the docs!!  But I do get scared from time to time of what if they are right and what if it is sooner rather than later and such.  The party was good overall and I guess I kinda set myself up to be upset in ways because I sooo wanted it to be perfect, and for him to be stimulated and have such joy and all.  It began as we arrived and I learned that a free public park you have to call and PAY to reserve a spot to use the picnic tables and such.  So as soon as I realize we have nowhere to do the party I burst into tears :(  We decide we will just hav eto do with no tables or whatever and then a lady comes over and said she had spot 1 and they were done now and we could use it.  I cried MORE!  LOL  Thank you God for sending that lady :)  So just barely after the official start time of the party Bobby's older sister and her hubby were wanting to start the singing and all because they could not stay long and needed to go.  It is a miracle she was able to come as with her health alot of times she can't get places, and this is first party she has made it too.  So, bobby wanted to go ahead and start.  Well, Jeremiah was asleep and so I was upset because I wanted him to enjoy it and feel stimulated and all, so I get baby wipes and I am working to get him awake, so then he is screaming! So I get him calmed down and so we do the singing Happy Birthday and cut the cake and all :)  Part of the time I have to hold the paci in his mouth!  LOL  Poor guy.  I guess he heard it and all but really just wanted to be asleep.  It is so weird because he is awake more often in the afternoon and that is why I set the party when I did.  But he is hard to predict as he showed us all.  Some folks stayed just a very short time and some were late getting there.  Those that stayed longer got a treat because after alot of folks had left Jeremiah woke up and was happier and smiling and cooing a bit.  Some missed it out on the playground nad all but a couple ladies stayed under pavilion with me and were able to be blessed by him :)  I did take him on the slide a few times but he got fussy with it.  I had brought a couple blankets and made a pallat on the ground and he really enjoyed that alot :)  He LOVED the fresh air and sunshine!  The weather was beautiful :)  Noah LOVED playing at the park and daddy and Celeste were wonderful to chase him and play with him an dall :)  Jeremiah's Physical Therapist came to the party and brought a wonderful gift and stayed and visted a LONG while :)  Just back from surgery herself was an even more amazing gift for her to come :)  I was down on the blanket with him and working on helping him sit and roll and all and she got down on the ground and worked with us :)  so sweet :)  Jeremiah's home health nurse also came for awhile and weighed him too!  lol  He is 23 lbs 4 oz now :)  Getting so big :)

I think another reason I was kinda emotional and all was I realized short of some of Bobby's family not one person at the party was someone who was even in our lives before the boys.  It is hard sometimes and I miss alot of folks, but I love my babies and I know how much other folks are missing out on by not being a part of our lives!

I so wish in ways some of my online family was closer and I could just load up the van and come visit or have them join us for the party and all.  I feel so close to so many of you guys and I thank you all for loving us soo :)

I am working on trying to make a montage of hte pictures from the party to post but will go on an post this now since I can't seem to upload picturs now without buying more storage.  It did take some so I have a few you can see :)

I was so blessed with the cake!  I had planned to bake one myself.  An online friend knew I was not feeling well, had just had a ct scan and such so she insisted on sending me funds to buy a cake.  So I asked them to make the cake white with buttercream frosting and blue to look like a lake with green trim and I added al lthe frogs and candles :)  what do you think??

This is Jeremiah with ALL HIS LOOT!  :)  He really did get alot of gifts, some were sent in mail, and some from party :)

Me trying to keep him involved in what was happening :)

Tami, your Froggie Boy's party looks like it was WONDERFUL! He looks happy too! I'm sure he knew that it was special and that it was for HIM! You're doing such a good job, Tami - keep up the good work with him! And you hang in there! Glad your CT scan came back okay. My hubby has diverticulitis from time and time.

Hugs,
Susan

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
