Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Wednesday's Child

So, I am feeling so led as of late to advocate for children in Asia where my heart feels such a pull for the orphans there.  And for Taiwan as my heart has such a connection there now that will always be there!  Each Wednesday I hope to focus on a waiting orphan in Taiwan that I find out about.  If you know of an orphan in Taiwan and can get me information I will focus on that child one week!  Even if you are not in a position or have no desire to adopt at this time, please look at the little faces I will post and please PRAY for the children to find a family!  Life with no family...is no life :(

Today I will start with Little Ya Ling!  This little girl has stole my heart.  IF we had the funds, and IF we were ready to go back right now I would SOOOO get her.  Part of me wants to put her aside for me, but I know this sweet angel needs a family NOW!!!
Isn't she the cutest little thing!!!! :)

Ya Ling is a 4.5-year-old girl with an eager, happy personality. She was born on July 26, 2005 and suffers from mild to moderate delays in cognitive ability, verbal understanding and language expression. She has been offered an individual education plan (IEP) with emphasis on cognitive skills, verbal skills, and oral expression training and is responding well. Ya Ling is currently in foster care, after being found alone by the roadside. It is clear that her grandmother loved her, but she was unable to provide good care due to her age and limited support system. Ya Ling has been in a few different placements along the way.

She is with Heartsent Adoptions.  They hope she can find her permanent, loving home so that she can continue to receive the services she needs, and begin to flourish with her new family! If you are interested in learning more about this cute little girl, please contact HEARTSENT ADOPTIONS at (925) 254-8883 as they have quite a lot of information about Ya Ling, and are eager to place her while she is still young.

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
