2 Words TRAVEL PACKET!!! :)

Well, the day FINALLY arrived! We got our Travel Packet!!!! :) We will be scheduling a travel meeting by phone soon! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Excited! :) I can't believe it has finally arrived! :) We are down to fundraising for the actual trip. Everything else is done! :) God is so amazing! :) I am havin a blast checking into hotels and flights and travel agencies and and and! :) heehee I am overwhelmed but also excited! I am aching so bad for new pictures. I keep praying some will come soon! and maybe an update. Seems the longer the process goes the more I miss him and the closer I feel to him all at the same time! Is that crazy? I just love looking at the things we have gotten for him. I can't WAIT to hold him in my arms!!! I must say it was so fun to read about what will happen on the Gotcha Day! I got teary eyed! God is so amazing. PLEASE keep praying for the final finances and for a quick final decree and news of our travel date! :) I am guessing based on others experiences that we will go sometime after September 1. I know we pick up on a Monday! I have come to LOVE Mondays just thinking about the day we get our boy! Thanks for all the prayers, help, friendship, and support! Please keep them up as we watch God show off somemore! :)

Praise to share! God is ABLE!

Evening all,

I wanted to share our newest thing to Praise Jesus about in this journey to our Noah! :) Bobby and I found out today that we have a ZERO percent covenant Loan to cover our Airfare from Dallas to Taipei! :) We are so incredibly excited that the flights are taken care of !!! God is so Able!! :) That is a HUGE amount of what we have been needing so much!!! :) Now we can pray for the judge to finalize the adoption and St. Lucy's to give us our travel date QUICKLY! :) This has been the LONGEST week in history for us! :) And we have most likley 4 or 5 weeks to go! This has been an amazing almost 9 months since we found out about our specific boy Noah! :) Even longer since we started wanting to have our baby! Anyway, We are still fundraising like crazy and waiting on word on grant money possibilities to help with hotel, food, Noah's Visa, Train fares, taxi fare, etc that we will need in Taiwan! :) PLEASE be in prayer for all of that! We are still doing weekly plate sales out of our home. Today's was Spaghetti and we raised a profit of about $95! We were quite pleased! We are so thankful to the Lord for all the amazing ways He is providing for us to bring our sweet Noah home! :) I can't believe we are this close and even the flight money is secured! :) Thank you Jesus!

Pay it Forward, First Decree outfit, Noah story and other things to share...

Things just keep getting funner and funner!! :) Our Pay it Forward Gifty arrrived!!!! Thanks so much Tiff! :) I love it all! :) Especially something with a Panda on it because we call Noah our little Panda since ladybug didnt seem appropriate for a boy from Asia! Here is a picture!! :)

So we are still in shock and so much blessed happiness over our 1st Decree!!! Can't wait to hear Final Decree and the travel date! I have had a total blast telling everyone! We began Vacation Bible School last night and so it was fun to tell each new person that came in to help us. WE GOT FIRST DECREE! :) And of course because yesterday was First Decree Day I had to go and buy Noah and new outfit for it! :) Well, with the start of VBS and all it was like 11 p.m before I could get anywhere and I just HAD to buy an outfit ON THE DAY! So I entered the time warp of WALMART! LOL Anyway, I found a cute outfit with the help of Noah's Jei Jei (older sister) Celeste! And also Daddy had to help us pick out a pair of Swim Trunks! We bought big to allow room for the little swimmers diaper thingy to go under them! So what do you think??

Also, we were blessed with an account of our wonderful friend Ramona's meeting of our sweet Noah! Here is the account she gave:

I saw your little boy! When it looked like things were winding down, I asked if we could tour the nursery. They said we couldn't go inside but that we could look in the windows from the outside. We went to the older children's nursery first. Of course I was looking for Lucy & Noah. Inside the 1st window I saw Jaden's crib and a few babies sleeping. I thought, "Oh no, he's sleeping!" Then I moved to the next window and who should be standing in his playpen looking back out at everyone? Noah! Tami, he's got such an angelic face and his eyes have such a sweet twinkle to them. He made my heart warm and fuzzy. He was very interested in all the people looking in. He kept his eyes on us and was reaching out with both hands. The nanny picked him up, put him on his feet and he made a beeline for the window. Yes, he's walking very steadily unassisted. He came right over to our window, peered up at me and put the palm of his right hand on it. I pressed mine up to his on the other side and said, "Hi Noah. You're mommy and daddy are coming for you soon." He kept his little hand pressed to the window and stared at me. He was moving his lips like he was trying to say something but I couldn't hear because the window was closed. His little face peering up at me was so precious I just couldn't stop staring at him. I just kept saying, "Hi Noah. Hi Noah." One of the nannies said, "What is his name?" I said, "Noah." She reapeated it and smiled. I stayed looking at him as long as I could, maybe 5 minutes(?) and he did the same. Tami, there aren't enough words to describe how angelic he is. He's also a big boy, very sturdy and strong looking. Gentle giant comes to mind. He's very ready for you to come get him.

I could not believe they had Noah! :) and it says Louisiana! So I bought it. I don't know if you can tell but it is a mini license plate! I figure it will go on the first Tricycle some day! :)

Thanks so much for all the prayers and love y'all keep sending our way! We totally appreciate them and say PLEASE keep them coming! I am so in awe of all God has done and so completely thankful to Him for this wonderful gift of our son! Children are a heritage of the Lord! We are so blessed. I can't wait to see God show off some more! :)

OH BOY!!! I HAVE NEWS!

FIRST DECREEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you read right!!! I got the call! It came this morning in the middle of a Fundraiser Plate sale! Val (Agency Director) says to me, " YOU GOT FIRST DECREE!!!" I think I screamed, I KNOW I cried! I was shocked and excited and thrilled and all kinds of emotions all in one! I cannot even explain it! :) I had been so anxious to know our log in date and here we had First Decree! I just love those Words! I asked Val about when she thought we would travel and she said about a month. Later when I spoke with Liza (Taiwan director) she said about 6 weeks. So I guess we are going in prayerfully 4 to 6 weeks! August 3 is 9 months since we first heard of Noah so it looks like we wil get him about 9 and a half or so months after we heard about him! :) God is so cool! I am told there is a waiting period before they can issue the Final Decree. The final decree means that legally he is ours as far as Taiwan is concerned! :) We should know our exact travel date in about 2 or 3 weeks! Please pray for the continued fundraising! One of those irons I mentioned in the last post is getting VERY hot so please continue to pray for that and as always for Noah and us!

Noah turned 15 months old yesterday

My Baby boy turned 15 months old yesterday. I can't believe he is that old and still in Taiwan! I just know every day we are closer to bringing hm home and so that makes it better! I am praying for developmental and photo updates soon! It is funny how those can so encourage me and make me recharge in the journey! I cannot wait to know the log in date, first decree, and the FINAL DECREE and then of course travel date! All those words sound so exciting to me and I can't WAIT to hear them! and then of course to FINALLY hold that sweet angel in my arms! Please continue to pray for Noah and for good news soon and he fast judge!! :) Also for a couple of funding possibilities in the fire!

Another event with empty arms

Evenin all,

Tomorow we leave town for our Annual Family Reunion for Bobby's Mother's Side of the family. Bobby and I are both a bit sad as we will be going without Noah or Celeste. We just KNEW Noah would be here in time for the reunion but it was not to be. Bobby really wanted Noah to win the trophy for having traveled the farthest! :) Celeste is not able to be there because her summer semester is just ending tomorow and she has to have dorm ispection and will be coming home Monday. I know we will have a great time and all but it just feels sad we have another thing we thought he would be home for and it passes. We are praying so very hard for the FAST Judge and we are praying that more is happening with our case than we know! You never know what is going on a half a world away. We have some wonderful irons in the fire if you will to help with the funds for travel we still need, so PLEASE pray God's will for those as well! Thank y'all so much for loving us and Noah so much!
