Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Saturday was the day for painting Noah's Room and working on the fence. Well, the 2 men who were originally to help Bobby with the fence could not do it after all so that kinda put a kink in things. Daddy John came over and He and Bobby worked on the fence and Mamma Helen and Leesa helped some too and they managed to get one small section up. Normally we don't do stuff like this on Sunday but we really need the fence up and the dogs able to go outside! So Sunday my friend Cassie brought her boys Caedmon and Connor out to help and their friend David and then her hubby Carlos after work helped finish up and the fence is up! :) Paiting Noah's room went good and was completed on Saturday. There were a few mishpas along the way but it is painted! It is bit darker than expected but I think it looks great and I love it!! :) I can't wait to see Noah in it :) there is some paint on the carpet even with so much trying to avoid that. Need to figure out how to handle that. Things did get a tad out of hand which you will see heehee:) Praying this slide show thingy will upload so you can share a bit of the day with us :) I have been working on it in several programs since saturday and I think I have one that will upload now!

It seem so amazing to me that we are getting so close to the point of going to get him! :) I am so excited! I am of course petrified about the plane but am also excited! :) It is kinda strange. I can't WAIT to just know the date. First we thought we would know Friday and that was not the time, then we thought Monday but it didnt happen either, so I am PRAYING that I get a call from Heartsent during the plate sale!!! :) It will be nice to KNOW the date and begin looking for serious at flights and hotels and such :) I can't wait to tell Noah about all the joy just the preparing for him brought to our hearts! Friday night I emptied out most of what was in his room except for largest furniture! It is amazing how much you can accumulate in a 9+ month wait when all you see of your child is pictures and one 24 second video! I could not believe it! And every since some people have found out we adopting a boy they will just give me stuff. I have some clothes Noah won't wear till he is 16! heehee :) What is funny is the majority of what I have been given is either way to small or way way too big! but we have gotten some really good deals on some cute cute outfits! Praying he has not outgrown any of those! I had been wanting to find a way to go to Carters and osh kosh outlets on the boardwalk here but not sure that is happening before travel but that is ok! :) It is easier to know what to buy then! I am in search of little BOY baby bed sheets and bath towels and such! :) I love the fact I am looking for boy stuff now! :) This is a whole new world for me :) I CAN"T WAIT!

Well, I must say that God has TRULY blessed us with some AMAZING friends in this journey! Some we had in our Church family and in our lives before the Noah Journey began who have been amazing friends and prayer warriors for us! And some other mommies I have met along the journey who have become so incredibly near to my heart! It is funny how you can begin to care so deeply about friends you have never met in person and of course their sweet babies :) It is also so amazing how much they have loved us in this journey! Look for a post later with pics of a nice gifty from one such friend that arrived this weekend! :) I need to get pictures of it all and post later.

Noah buddy, Mama and Baba love you and we are coming just as soon as we can! :) Catch my kisses in the wind little man!

Travel Meeting CHECK! :) and more...

Hi all :)

Well, we have FINALLY had our travel meeting! We have waited 9 months for the day we would have this wondeful meeting to discuss all that will happen on the trip to pick up the child of our hearts! :) God is so good! :) It was such a wonderful meeting and lasted HOURS :) We are so incredibly blessed to be with Heartsent! They are an amazing agency and Liza and Val have been wonderful and become friends along the way as well! :) It has been an amazing 24 hours. We have this wonderful travel meeting, we have spoken preliminarily with OUR TRAVEL AGENT!!! :) I would have NEVER thought I would have a travel agent but I do! :) Todd has been wonderful and very knowledgable! We have some guesstimated quotes and we are to call him immediatly when we get THE DATES for travel! :) Which is suppose to be by Monday! Talk about a LONG weekend of waiting! :) It should be in about 3 weeks we travel we are told! :) I can't believe we are FINALLY to the point we are down to weeks! :) On top of all that wonderful fun and exciting stuff we have received a major blessing from my friend Jackie! :) Jackie is Tiawan Lucy's Mom! :) She is the first blog I really really started reading right when we found out about Noah 9 months ago. She has been amazing and always there to offer an understanding email back when I am frustrated in the journey! :) Well, they finally after 10 months have their first decree and have made some tshirts and products that say I survived Taiwan Lucy! :) They are so cute :) Well, the blessing part of this is that I found out today that all the proceeds from that will be donated to help bring Noah home! I was shocked and blessed beyone measure by her generosity. And if that was not enough she has posted our chip in button to her blog so that folks can donate to Noah if they would like too! It is amazing to me how God has brought me so many dear friends in this journey to Noah! :) I can't wait till the day we all can meet and have a reunion of our babies :)

So, tomorow is a big day here in Noah prep land! heehee :) We will be painting the Nursery! :) and if some help arrives for Bobby putting up the fence in the yard!! :) PLEASE pray Bobby can get some help tomorow afternoon for that. He is getting up about 7 to put the poles in quick crete and then will have to have help to actually put up the chain link. It is so neat to be doing so much to get ready for our boy! :) I can't believe how quickly we will be going now! Though it still seems like forever but in reality weeks is NOT forever! :)

NOAH BABY, hang on little man! We are coming SOON! Catch my kisses in the wind baby boy!

15 month old Picture and update :)

Today we got Noah's 15 month old picture and an update from the Nanny's :) Such a joyful day when I get ANY word on my little man, especially with photo included! :)

Noah WesLee (Yueh-Tsan) Sisemore 15 months with a smile!!!! :)

And now for the update! :) We got VERY VERY good news! Noah finally said his first words :) So he is definitly hearing and going to be able to talk and communicate at least on some level! My heart is so blessed as I really really wanted to be able at the very least to hear him say mama :) Anyway, here is the update :)

Dear Tami,

Noah is growing up so fast! He looks more handsome each time!

Here are the updated measurements:

Height: 30.71" / 78 cm

weight: 24.25 lb / 11 kg

head: 18.11" / 46 cm

He drinks 1250 cc of milk/formula a day, and his supplemental foods are: Rice soup, mashed fruit/veg, rice cookies, steam bun, rice cereal, cracker, steam egg, toast, noodle, fish, meat

There was no new medical information.

Here is the update from the nannies: When he wakes up he sits up or hold the railing to stand up; he smiles at you when you call his name; he will cry out loud if he cannot see the nannies or wants someone to hold him. He eats very well and is motivated to learn. He watches people’s mouth to learn to talk and repeats the sound. He likes to play hide and seek, can walk by himself. He walks around and finds his buddies to play. He can say mama and papa.

Such an encouraging update! I miss that boy so much! How can you miss someone you have never actually held or touched so much?? I sure do! It is so wonderful to get an update and blesses my soul but also makes me miss him more somehow!

Well August 3rd marked 9 months waiting to the day from when we saw Noah's picture for the first tiem and began this journey to him! My due date has arrived! But my baby is still in Taiwan. BUT we are expecting word of travel date by the end of the week and travel should be sometime in the next month! His mommy was 3 weeks late, maybe he takes after me! :) heehee Another adopting mommy shared the below photo with me that she used to mark 9 months waiting for a referral in their journey. It marks our 9 month journey to Noah!

It has been an amazing journey and it is far from over and even when the jorney to get Noah is over it really is only beginning! The Journey of our life with our son, with a grown daughter and a baby boy! A Journey of a family! :) PLEASE continue to keep Noah in prayers for the trasitions to come in his little life! And also the funding for the hotels, food, his visa and all that goes along with a trip to a foreign country to pick up our sweet little man! I KNOW GOD IS ABLE! Join us in prayer for God to provide MIRACULOUSLY! I can't wait to see how He is going to show off next! :)
Noah baby, Mama and Baba are so ready to come get you! We can't wait for the day they place you in our arms! :) Hold on sweet boy! We are coming soon! Catch our kisses in the wind baby!

Is that crazy? I just love looking at the things we have gotten for him. I can't WAIT to hold him in my arms!!! I must say it was so fun to read about what will happen on the Gotcha Day! I got teary eyed! God is so amazing. Praise to share! God is ABLE!

Evening all,

I wanted to share our newest thing to Praise Jesus about in this journey to our Noah! :) Bobby and I found out today that we have a ZERO percent covenant Loan to cover our Airfare from Dallas to Taipei! :) We are so incredibly excited that the flights are taken care of !!! God is so Able!! :) That is a HUGE amount of what we have been needing so much!!! :) Now we can pray for the judge to finalize the adoption and St. Lucy's to give us our travel date QUICKLY! :) This has been the LONGEST week in history for us! :) And we have most likley 4 or 5 weeks to go! This has been an amazing almost 9 months since we found out about our specific boy Noah! :) Even longer since we started wanting to have our baby! Anyway, We are still fundraising like crazy and waiting on word on grant money possibilities to help with hotel, food, Noah's Visa, Train fares, taxi fare, etc that we will need in Taiwan! :) PLEASE be in prayer for all of that! We are still doing weekly plate sales out of our home. Today's was Spaghetti and we raised a profit of about $95! We were quite pleased! We are so thankful to the Lord for all the amazing ways He is providing for us to bring our sweet Noah home! :) I can't believe we are this close and even the flight money is secured! :) Thank you Jesus!

Noah baby, Mommy and Daddy are getting closer and closer! Just hang on and we will be there SOON! Jesus loves you baby boy and so do we! :) Catch my kisses in the wind sweetie!

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
