Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

My Baby is 16 months old Today!

I can't believe it but Noah is 16 months old today! :) My baby boy is getting so big! I do not have him in my arms today as he turns 16 months BUT this is the last time he will turn another month older without being in my arms! My sweet little man's life is about to be changed beyond his comprehension. PLEASE pray for him that the Lord will begin to prepare his little heart and mind for all that is coming. Pray for us to be JUST what Noah needs us to be. Please pray for Su-Mei Noah's birth mother. I feel closer and closer to her as each day passes drawing me closer to bringing Noah home and the realness of the INCREDIBLE gift she is giving me becomes bigger. I am praying now that she will decide to come on the 8th to say goodbye to him and meet us. It is totally up to her if she wants to do that. I am told some mother's do wish to do this when the option is given. I do know after Noah was born she stayed in the mother's home at St. Lucy's and she visited him each day the whole time she was there. I don't know what she will decide and whether I meet her or not I will always hold her close to my heart. I know she is so young, I wish I could bring her home with me too! I was so hoping and praying for a new picture of Noah today as I feel the ache more and more as the days grow closer and closer. I feel so many different emotions during this time. I am working on laying down fear of all kinds, the airplane, the unknown of a foreign country, that Noah won't like us, that he willl wish we had not come, that he will be miserable with us and have a hard transistion and and and. I know that God knows and has known from day one that Noah was ours and would come home and God's timing is perfect. I am trying to lay down all the fear and worries and just look forward with excitement to all that is coming, all the new experiences and all the years with Noah. To be able to gaze upon his face sleeping or awake, to take his picture whenever I want, to feel his little chubby arms around my neck. I am ready for the "labor" of having to FORCE myself to get on the plane no matter what my flesh feels to get to Taiwan and begin the ride of life with my boy.

Noah honey, Mommy loves you more than you can ever fathom. Catch my kisses in the wind baby boy!

Car Wash held for Noah!

The Torchbearer's (Children's Ministry at our Church) had a car wash today to rasie money to bring Noah home! :) It was a wonderful overcase day so not quite so hot and sticky! A fun time was had by all and the car wash was a wonderful success. The children were so blessed. :) It was suppose to run from 10 am till 1pm but about half the kids did not get there till like 10:45 I would guess and the first car came in after that. There were only like 11 or so cars but the grand total of money raised by the children for Noah was...........

drum roll please :) .........................

...............................................................

$152. 11

YIPEE :) The kids were beside themselves that they could raise so much money and in only a little over 2 hours :)

Bobby and I were so blessed by how hard the children worked and how much they love us and little Noah already! :) Lots of little joys throughout the day. At one point a police car drives into the parking lot and little 5 year old Joshua screams "OH NO ITS THE COPS! " LOL that sent everyone laughing for a good while :) The children would hollar and say PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE we have been waiting SOOO long for Noah! :) It was really neat when the red light would stop the cars and the kids would just bumbard them with pleas for them to let them wash their car. And we did it at a Pizza restaurant so someone would pull up and park to go eat and this mob of kids would attack and tell them all about Noah and how important it was! :) Some could not resist those faces :)

Thanks for all who prayed. :) It worked :)

Noah honey, there are SO MANY people here waiting for you to get home. MOST of all is me baby boy! Mommy loves you so much and I can't wait till we are together and I can bring you home :) Catch my kisses in the wind baby boy!

Deliveries Deliveries and more!

Well, I wanted to write and share that we have had quite a few days here :) I just have loved opening the door twice this week to the mailman carrying gifties from my adoption friends to my sweet Noah! :) The first came from my friend Judy K! :) This came addressed to Mr. Noah Sisemore :) and there was a sweet note from William to Noah! This card will be put up for Noah to read someday. Mommy cried on it! :) Very very sweet. William was at St. Lucy's with my Noah! Here is the gifties they sent

Thank you so much Judy and William and Family! :) We are blessed and honored you would think of us! :)

Then another day another knock! :) heehee and here is Mr. Mailman with another gifty! This time from my friend Tiff ! She is Gracyn's Mommy! She picks up her sweet angel a week to the day before me! We were hoping to be in Taiwan together along with my friend Jackie but turns out Tiff flys out of Taiwan the day we leave for Taiwan. Anyway, we are so blessed to have Tiff think of us at this time as she prepares to leave to bring Miss Gracyn home! :) Thanks so much Tiff! Here is a picture of the gifty from Tiff :)

We have been so incredibly blessed to make so many wonderful friends with the mommies and daddies of Noah's Taiwan Roomies :)

I also wanted to share with y'all Noah's GOTCHA Day outfit! :) I am guessing on all the sizes so this may swallow him. Actually if my update weights are correct it is going to be too big, but I would rather go to big than too small. And the shoes were a guess based on the size shoes William wears. Prayerfully they are not too small. :) Anyway, here it is

I just love this outfit! :) I cannot wait to see Noah in it! :) And the little sandles are so adorable! :)

On to other news :) Today was an amazing day! We received our covenant loan check by overnight fedex this morning

This is the stub off it! We were in such a hurry I did not take a picture of the Check!

and immediately jumped in the car to go to the bank to cash it so we can send of the payment to book the flights that are reserved. Well, we had feared and were correct that the bank wanted to hold the check for 5 days before they released the funds. We had already been told by Todd he needed the money by Friday in order for us to not loose the flights. I had called my friend Cassie on the way to the bank to pray with us for Favor at the bank. She suggested asking them if they can call the bank the check is drawn on and verify the funds were there and the check was good and go ahead and release the funds. We asked, the wonderful bank ladies jumped to it trying to find the phone number of the bank to call them and verify the check. While they were doing this we prayed! After a bit one of the girls comes out and says, the check has been verified so we can release the funds NOW! :) I was literally jumping up and down in the bank! :) heehee and shouted just a little too loud I fear Hallalujah, Thank you Jesus! heehee So they cut us a cashier's check for the flight amout for us to send to our travel agent Todd.

Then we hightailed it over to Fed Ex and sent it overnight mail. Todd will have it in hand by 10:30 am tomorrow and can book the flights!

Here is the Fed Ex Receipt for our PLANE TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't God cool?? :) I am so excited! :) It is amazing All God has done in the past 9 + months! Each step of the way has been an adventure and a blessing and a learing experience of who God is and how much He loves even me and that he cares even about the little things! I stand in awe of Him! Thank you Jesus for being such an on time God and for showing off for me so much through all this! :) We give you all the glory and honor and praise! I can't believe that in 3 weeks from this moment I will be ON AN AIRPLANE!!!! :) if you know me you KNOW this is GOD! heehee

Hang on sweet Noah! We are coming soon baby boy! Catch my kisses in the wind little man! I love you!

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
