Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

I'm Leaving on a JET PLANE!

Gotcha Day is Sept 8th! We will be leaving for Taiwan September 4th!!!! :) To return around Sept 11th!!! Hence the new video on the blog!

I am in shock, though I have been waiting for this for 9 months and 10 days!!! :) THIS IS IT! :) Finally! I can't tell you how excited I am! :) And how overwhelmed! I have NEVER been on a plane in my life, know nothing about flying at all or what I can and can't take and and and. But who cares. God is taking me to Taiwan to pick up my baby boy! :) My arms are literally aching for him!

Noah baby, We are on the home stretch now buddy! Won't be long at all! Hang on and catch my kisses in the wind just a little longer!

How exciting!! So are you flying through Japan? Wave when you fly over!!!!!

Hints/ tips / things I've learned...
One thing that helps on a LONG flight is to have a few surprise toys or treats put back for when little ones gets antsy.
I get $1 store toys for flights. Then if they get lost it's not a big deal.
Have an extra passy in case one gets lost. These are life savers during take off and landing ~ provided Nah takes a passy!
Also pack a change of clothes or 2 in your carry on along with some ziploc baggies to hold spit up on / spilled on / ___ on items of clothing. Children are VERY good at getting themselves as well as mommy & daddy!!
Another thing I "recycle" sandwich size ziplocs for messy diapers, but on a plane you might want to just zip 'em all up.

OK... I am drawing a blank. BUT just remember it can be done! It IS a long flight... but it is worth it!!

Hugs & Prayers, Laura

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
