Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Jeremiah Harold Sisemore Dedication

Jeremiah's Dedication was this morning!  It was wonderful and our Church family was so loving to us as always :) and some dear friends that attend other Churches chose to come and be a part of the day with us!  It was wonderful and the entire service gave me a sense of peace.  It is my first time in Church since Jeremiah has been placed in my arms and I so have missed Church and praise and worship especially.  That is how I FEEL GOD the most!  I so would love to be blessed to go to a Praise and Worship concert type setting :)  I would eat it up.  Anyway, here is the video I was finally able to upload onto facebook.  I can't get it on my computer from my phone but someone got it from phone to facebook.  I am so thankful God chose me to be Jeremiah's mommy!  I am soo thankful he is home now :)

My absolute Favorite Picture of the day! Jeremiah with the hands on him! God is ABLE!

Pastor Suber prayed over Bobby and I as well as dedicating Jeremiah to God and praying for him too.

They gave Jeremiah a little Bible with his full name Jeremiah Harold Sisemore engraved on it!

\
Nannie (my momma) and her THREE grandchildren!  Aunt Dorothy requested this picture :) Maybe someday I will get one with them smiling.  Noah is NOT cooperative with that lately.

There are so many people, some of my dear bloggie readers, adoptive friends etc. that I so wish could have been with us. One of you knows who you are and I had you in my heart today as I remembered your sweet words to Jeremiah!  I will treasure your letter to him all my days!

If you have not viewed the video I made in the previous post with pictures over the past 2 months since Jeremiah came into our arms, please scroll down and watch it.  Have not had many comments.

I send you all kisses in the wind from us!

Tami, I really was blessed by the video of Jeremiah's dedication to the Lord Jesus. God has done a miracle by getting you to Taiwan to get Jeremiah and He has done a miracle by bringing Jeremiah to his dedication TODAY, despite all the medical problems. I've been following your journey since you first got Noah. I pray for you guys - all of you. I hope you felt the encouragement of your church family today, and your blog readers as they are able to "be there" by computer!

Love in HIM, who is able, more than able,

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog so I could come visit you!! Your dedication service, celebration photos and video were wonderful!
Our most recently adopted boys not only share the same rocking chair ( smiles) but similar brain-diagnoses/prognoses since our Daniel from Liberia had not only the very visible hydrocephaly, (huge head) but the MRI diagnosed and confirmed anecephaly...absence of most of his brain with a severe overabundance of fluid where brain material should have been, and then some. We knew about the hydro from meeting Daniel well before we accepted his referral and started his adoption. While the prognosis for Daniel and Jeremiah is not one that pleases the human eyes, ears, or hearts, our sweet babies are are Jeremiah 29:11 babies nonetheless. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I have seen God really minister to the hearts of many people from taxi drivers to transporters at the hospital to folks in the grocery store and lots of "knowledgable" medical folks ...the pure love of God as they see us loving this child who "can't give back" "won't care for us when we are old" "has 'no' future" because I can share that God blessed us to get to love this one whom some might call "not worth 'it' ". Jesus said what we do to the least of these we do to Him........... my message is that I want to do for Daniel what I would do for Jesus because Jesus loves me so much that when I was just like Daniel( nothing to offer, fussing and complaining a lot and flailing about in random gestures, occasionally smiling and not expressing displeasure) CHRIST DIED FOR ME! The message to families is that while it may seem "easy" ( HA HA HA HA HAHA ROFL for those of us who have adopted ) to adopt a healthy child, even an older child, adoption is not simply about what is easy or what "fits our family best" necessarily, but WHOM GOD HAS CHOSEN FOR A FAMILY. He does not, to borrow a cliche' call the equipped but He does equip the called.
For sure God has called your family, and is before Jeremiah came home, and now and in the days to come equipping your family to grow together and further glorify the Kingdom through the addition of your newest son who will be loved and blessed all the days of his life! I too felt sucker punched when the neurosurgeon told me that we could even skip the shunt surgery for Daniel because it wouldn't "make any difference in terms of outcome" but would "only be a comfort measure." WHAT!!!!???? No brain? No improvement? "No future?" MY son has a hope AND A FUTURE! God promised it to him, and we are a huge part of that future. Might not look like we thought it would, but it looks like God had it planned out.
Someone even asked me why we would go half way around the world for a brain damaged baby and you know what? The answer was the same as for why we traveled 3/4 of the way around the world for a sick infant and for 5 older ("healthy") children :all pals and sibs in another orpahange. BECAUSE GOD CALLED US TO GO.
"Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus...just to take HIm at His Word!" Have a blessed blessed, full to overflowing day!!!
CONGRATULATIONS on your newest son!
Linda

Love this service . . . thanks for sharing it. Had to tear up and cry at different points--and laugh when your pastor made the quip about adoptive Mama's. I couldn't catch exactly word for word what he said but the general idea was that we aren't to be messed with because we are so fierce and protective of our kiddoes. You got that right, Pastor!! Tami, God is going to use you in Jeremiah's life in an amazing way--HE ALREADY HAS--and I expect that to continue. I wish I were close enough to come and see you in person, but I send prayers and love over the miles.

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
