Hello all :)
I got some updates on Noah today and I thought I would share:
here are his measurements:
height: 29.72" / 75.5 cm
weight: 21.16 lb / 9.6 kg
head: 17.72" / 45 cm
here are other updates :)
"When he wakes up he sits up or hold the railing to stand up; he smiles at you when you call his name; he will cry out loud if he cannot see the nannies or wants someone to hold him. He can walk by pushing a walker. He eats very well and is motivated to learn. He watches people’s mouth to learn to talk and repeats the sound."
Below is the updated medical information:
• 4/08: from birth to nine to ten months, we observed that most of the sound he makes is “a:”. He is almost one year old, I have not heard he made “da” or “ma” sound, but he love to interact with others, no different from other children.
• 4/29/08: went to Chengkung university medical center to see ENT specialist, Dr. Wu, Jun-ling to arrange hearing test: normal
• 5/6/08: Another arrangement is the otoacoustic emission hearing tests and brain stem auditory nerve test, both results show normal
• 5/08: Can stand up and hold on something to walk, like to play and hit toys, likes people to hold him. When he wants to have someone to hold him, he will cry very loud. Can push a walker and walk. Eat very well and is motivated to learn. Will watch people’s months to learn to talk, can play peek-a-boo with you. When you call his name, he will smile at you.
• 5/08: two upper front teeth and 2 lower front teeth
• 5/9/07: See Pediatric nerve doctor, Dr. Chen, Yong-Rong to ask about his language development. According to Dr. Cheng, his ENT hearing test shows normal, suggested to talk to him more to stimulate his motivation and chances to talk. A follow up on 11/7/08
I pray beyond pray that he is here LONG before that follow up appointment! I just thought I would share! My boy is growin up a world away and it is hard to see all he does and how many teeth and all that I wasnt there for him but at the same time I feel so much closer to him when I read any tiny bit of news! :)
Mommy and Daddy Love you so much Noah!
Catch my kisses in the wind!
Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Newest Pics and prayer needs for Noah!
Hello to all :)
I wanted to write and update on where things are with our Journey to Noah! :) Our Dossier is complete and authenticated and all and on its way to Taiwan if not already there! :) We have not heard if we are logged into court yet or not but are praying for things to move ahead quickly! :) We are praying for the fast judge! :) It is possible we could have an adoption decree signed in 2 weeks if we get the fast judge. It could also take 4 months. I am praying very hard and trying to be content in the waiting! We are actively fundraisng and please pray for these ventures to be very profitable! :) We are also workin on applying for another grant or two in hopes of help with the airfare, travel money and Noah's Visa we still lack and any other unforseen needs that may arise in Taiwan or along the way. I feel in my spirit of sense of urgency to raise the rest of the needed funds so please pray with us for ideas, donations, plate sales, etc to be above and beyond what we have done before! :) Noah continues to grow and develop a world away. This is so much harder than I have ever imagined. This lovin a baby a world away and waiting. I am so incredibly blessed that God has chosen me to be Noah's Mommy and I can't wait for the day that he is placed in my arms! Praying I can get these pictures to come through!

What an Anniversary Gift we received!!!!!!!!!! News News!
I just wanted to share with everyone that while Bobby and I were away for our Wedding Anniversary we received an amazing gift!!!!! At 7:08 pm on our anniversary Wednesday night I received a phone call from the Director of the Taiwan program at Heartsent (our WONDERFUL adoption agency). Well, She said she had sent us something by Fedex to arrive at our home thursday A.M. and that is was VERY GOOD NEWS! I was like soo excited and about to jump out of my skin :) She said that St. Lucy's (the orphanage where are little Noah is living) had finished with their review and had approved us as Noah's Parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And what was in the FedEx envelope to us was 4 copies of the Adoption Contract in Chinese!!!!!! She said when St. Lucy's receives those back as far as St. Lucy's is concerened Noah is our son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We can not abandon him after that. LIKE WE WOULD!!! WHAT! give me a break. We were so so so so excited! Bobby and I were jumpin up and down and I was hollering I am pregnant for sure! LOL paper preganant! not that we werent already paper pregnant but there was a chance St. Lucy's could have said no so we are thrilled! :) We also have some other papers to sign, one is a referral paper because we never did that step officially and they said to sign here IF you accept this child. I am like IF? You have to be kidding me! OF COURSE we accept him. We have been tryin to get him home so hard! YES YES YES! Give me my baby! LOL And in the referral package on the cover was a new picture of Noah! :) It is adorable! It was taken the day before his first birthday! I need to make a copy of it to a disk so I can add it to the blog! So anyway, Friday (April 25, 2008) Bobby and I met at the Bank to sign the contracts and have them notoraized! Then we went to FedEx and sent them to Liza (our Amazing Agency's Amazing Taiwan Director!) so that they should be in her hands by Monday Morning!!!! She will then send it all on to Taiwan!!!!! And everything will go to court. I dont know exactly when we will log into court but I am praying it is quickly!!!! Please please pray for a fast judge! Pray for USCIS to hurry up with our 171H and please please pray for God to move miraculously with the $4000 orphanage donation money we need, the airfare, hotel, food, Noah's Visa and anything else we do not know about yet! Luckily God knows. Also pray we can make wise decisions about hotel and that we guesstimate the amount of money we need to take with us correctly. :) Pray with us that the Judge approves and finalizes the adoption Quickly! I cannot wait to post on here to yall that we have a travel date!!!!!!!! I have a video of my sweet Noah but I am not real sure how to put it on here! I will work on that! It is only 24 seconds long but the most precious 24 second in the world!!!!!!
Thanks yall for the prayers and caring and please continue on.
Noah honey, Mommy and Daddy are gettin closer and closer. We love you little man! I am blowing you kisses in the wind baby boy!

UPDATE! Wow what a night!!! God is ABLE!
Hi all :)
I have to share the updates of the day. I spent today gettin a baby photo album ready for my sweet Noah to hold and chew on and look at family pictures :) And I bought him a few clothes and a toy. I get to overnight mail a package to the agency who will deliver it to him as they are leaving for Taiwan on Saturday!! :) It was so neat to get together things and hold them and know my sweet baby boy is goin to touch these very things! :) We took them with us to Church tonight so that after Church we as a body could pray over them. So we get to Church and Bobby and I begin Children's Chuch and part way in my cell phone rings. Now this is unusual during Church so I grab it. It is the adoption agency and the taiwan director is talking to me and she is telling me about Noah's latest medical report. The Fragile X Chromosome Test this time was NEGATIVE!!!!!! She says the words to me "Noah does not have Fragile X syndrome"! I am stunned and excited. We have been praying for his healing as a body so I am soo excited. I mean he had it before and now he doesn't! WOW!!!!! Now, she says he is still considered a special needs/High risk adoption because of the developmental delays and the fact that everyone but one grandmother in his family was mentally challenged on both father and mother's side. Anyways, there are still alot of unknowns as to how this will affect Noah in the long run and as a baby it is impossible to tell, so he may have mental challenges and he may not. Only God knows and we dont care either way. The plans are the same to get him home and begin therapy with him and see where he is and all. Also there is testing and all that can be done in the states that is not available in Taiwan so we will have more answers when Noah is home. BUT, I am standing on the fact that he is healed of Fragile X! We will love him and care for him no matter what diagnosis he has or what he can or can't do. God is so Able! :) So I have to go back into children's Church with all this news! :) I share it all with the kids and Bobby and another teacher in there with us. And am good and wait to tell the rest of the body till later! So after Church I get to announce it to everyone :) and everyone is like PRAISE GOD!!! then we all gather in the sanctuary and open the bag and anoint an item in the bag and the bag and we as a body together pray for Noah! We give thanks to God for the Fragile X beging gone! And we pray over Noah and the adoption and we pray about the finances that are needed to send the agency for Friday that we do not have. We agree to stand in faith for God to move. It was wonderful standing there with our entire Church body that was present and feeling the love and care they all have for us and Noah! :) We are all standing in faith together. Then we all go about visiting and all and several head on home and Bobby goes outside to call a friend he had asked yesterday about borrowing $3000 until our reimbursment grant comes in. The entire time he is outside I am praying (which felt like an eternity) Finally he comes back in and the look on his face is not good so I am telling myself it is ok, God is Able! So Bobby walks up to me and tells me that tomorow afternoon I am to pick up the money from the friend at his business! I am like WHAT?? Are you serious? Are you lyin? Your kidding and am just basically in a stunned kinda shock. Then I screamed and burst into tears! Pastor Leesa starts hollerin what what and so Bobby announces to everyone we got the rest of the payment we needed! :) Everyone is hootin and hollerin and jumpin up and down! It was so amazing! Leesa is huggin me and I am cryin and prayin thankgiving to God! God is so amazing! Such an on time God! :) I would never have bold face ask this friend to borrow the money normally, nor would I have known they had the money for sure, but God knew! God has been speakin to me lately about you have not because you ask not! I am so excited and my heart is beating a thousand miles an hour. Anyway, tomorow I pick up the $3000 check from our friend to the agency and I go to the bank and get a $350 cashiers check for the part of the payment we did have and I will overnight mail a $3350 payment to the agency and the care package for our sweet sweet Noah! :) I am soo soo blessed! :) At this point, as long as nothing unforseen happens, we just need to raise $4000 in the next month for the orphanage donation that must be paid when the adoption is final. Which is in about a month they said maybe a little longer. Then probably 2 weeks after that we will need travel money for airfare, hotels, food etc for 5 to 7 days in Taiwan to pick up our little man! :) It is getting closer and closer and closer! PLEASE continue to be in prayer for the money we need for the rest of all this! Thanks so much for all the prayers yall have been sending up on our behalf! I just HAD to share the updates! Noah sweetie pie! Mommy and Daddy are working so so hard and we are gonna come get you as soon as we can baby boy! I am blowin you kisses in the wind little man! I love you forever baby boy.. Your mommy!

updates etc...
Hello everyone :)
Well, we are working on a couple of fundraisers we pray will be very good. We are planning a Christian Benefit Concert on April 11th in Shreveport, LA. We are praying this is our biggest fundraiser to date! PLEASE keep it in prayer. We have about 9 confirmed performers so far! Basically we are asking local Christian talent to donate their performances and then we will take up a Love Offering towards Noah's Adoption during the concert! I plan to have my board up with all the information about Fragile X and about Taiwan and with pics of Noah! :) I have written to Steven Curtis Chapman and Nicole C. Mullen and asked them both to come but have not heard back. I know they are very busy and it is kinda doubtful, but I feel the Lord has been telling me You have not because you ask not, so I ask! If anyone reading this is a Christian performer of any type of Christian music, drama, etc and would be willing to come and donate a performance please email me @ childofmyheart@aol.com :) Also please if you are in the area PLEASE PLEASE get the word out about this! We are still doing our weekly plate sales with the exception of one week while we were out of town for our fingerprint appointment! This past tuesdaywe did Chicken Spaghetti again and raised $116.00. Next week we are doing BBQ pulled pork Sandwiches, baked beans, chips and a dessert. Prices will be $5 for a one sandwich plate and $7 for a 2 sandwich plate. If you know anyone who would to order lunch on Tuesday let us know! :) We are also working on planning a Babysitting fundraiser for April 4th at our Church as well :) This will be that friday evening 6pm till 11 pm. The cost is $10 per child (family maximum of $35) and you send them a sack supper and drink. Please be in prayer for all of these :) Also we are still waiting on word about our application to Shoahannah's Hope for a grant and we are working on a couple other grant possibilities. We covet your prayers on this journey. I KNOW that God is able! I want to share with yall the latest picture we have of our sweet little NOAH! :) He is sitting up now! :)
UGGH I cant get blogger to cooperate! I will try and post it again later or maybe on the side bar thing I can get it to work rather than in a post!

Kisses in the Wind
KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.
I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.
Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.
May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.
Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.
May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.
