Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Jumpin Jupiter!!! Playdate Fiasco...

Today Noah and I went to a preview class at a place in a neighboring town for Kindermusik! :) Noah was quite overwhelmed and overstimulated I fear! We actually previewed 2 different classes in a row as he is right on the cusp of being in either one. Oldest in one group or youngest in the other. By the end of the 2nd class he was kinda gettin into it as they do similar things just the 2nd one is a bit more involved. I think Noah is going to love it :) I do NOT have pictures of us in class because I was busy with a clinging vine most of the class. I will try eventually to get some pics if I can figure out how while I am doing it with him. Maybe I can work it out to have someone go with me at some point. I do want some of us both doing it so we will see. Here are some cute shots of us waiting in the car for the door to open! :) I do have some news :) I am ALMOST POSITIVE Noah said Yay today! :) In class when we cheered! He also appears to be saying Ears! :) He will practically pull your ears off! heehee but it really sounds like he is sayin Ears when he does. It is not clear but it sounds like he is saying it!

He just smiles so much with those gorgeous eyes! :)

Big grin! :) That's my boy!

I just thought this was adorable! it is hard to get good pics with him in my lap in the driver's seat while we were parked in parking lot but they may be close but still are adorable :)

After Kindermusik, Noah and I met Bobby and picked up Samuel who Bobby had acquired after we left and I took the boys on a playdate with my friend Cassie and her 13 month old Caleb. It is rare she has time to do something but had a break today! We went to a new local play place today called Jumpin Jupiter! It is a room with colorful rubbery floors and like bouncy houses with slides and obstacle courses and things like that. It has a play house and some riding toys. The thing is there is a certain amount of noise in the room to make these 6 or so blow up bouncy play things blow up and we walk in the door and Noah starts SCREAMIN! It TOTALLY freaked him out! I think the noise scared him. We only stayed 45 minutes and the lady was SHOCKED when we left so soon because it is a set price no matter how long you stay so she probably thought we did not get money worth. We had to really work with Noah to get him to even try and have fun. I am not sure I can say he ever really had fun because it just really seemed to make him nervous though he did calm down on and off and try a couple things. I had contemplated having his birthday party there next month. Boy and I glad I had decided against it already cuz I would have been out deposit money. Here are a few pictures of our first trip to jumpin jupiter. We are suppose to have a play date with a young girl and her toddler next week there but I am gonna have to see if we can do something else cuz I just dont think Noah is ready for this place yet.

We spent alot of time doing this. I would put him down to try to get him to do something and he wanted no part of it!

Here is the door he kept goin too. A couple times folks came in and he tried to leave! I probably should have just left immediatly but I kept thinking once I got in the bouncy's with him and showed him he would love them but nope.

arms up again! but you can see here he is watchin what Caleb and Sam are doing! CALEB LOVED IT! crawled ALLLL over the place with a smile plastered on his face! :)

Here they are in the little house they had! I am determined to find a good deal on one of these! Even nervous and all Noah loved this house! :) I want one for him at home! :) Samuel is in the house with him and Caleb is crawling in and that is cassie talkin to them :)

The BRIEF stay on one of the riding toys!

on a bouncy with Cassie but not happy bout it!

Mama and Noah bouncin :) you can tell we are in motion. lol LOOK at my glasses! heehee and my hair! NOT a becoming picture of me but the CLOSEST Noah got to smiling the whole time! :)
It saddens me that he did not enjoy it because there is just so few play places here to begin with and nothing really toddler oriented so I was so hoping he would like this one. There were other toddlers there during the tiem we went when big kids are in school but apparently it is not for Noah at this point! The search for an amazing play place HE will love continues :)
I got a call from Early Steps and Noah will begin Speech April 14th. For 3 months it will be once a week. At that point if the therapist can show why he would need it he can go up to 2 days a week. He will begin occupational therapy once a week in a week or so. and he will continue with Maria his Special Therapist who works on all areas on Monday afternoons! :) They are really workin to help us with Noah! They are also trying to get us some more copies of Signing time! :) He has done very well with the one we have :) I am excited! Well, I best get off here and finish what I must so I can sleep while the sleepin is good!

Eczema!

Noah has been diagnosed with Eczema! Poor guy! At least we finally have a reason for his constant itchy skin and rashes and such and the specialist seems to know what she is doing! AND I GET TO BATHE him daily again! The old pediatrician told me I was bathing him too much and making his skin dry. so she said every other night, that didn't work, so she said less baths and on and on. Poor Noah. I know how much a nice bath makes me feel better! So anyway he now is to have a warm (not hot , not cold) bath daily and have cream rubbed on him from top to bottom! :) Baby massage :) He loves it as we already have done one rub down :) Anyway I am so happy to be able to bathe him more regular and feel lke a better mom and to help his itching would make me feel so much better :) He has to have special soap, special cream, etc but it is all worth it to give him the sweet soft non itchy baby skin he deserves! :) I fixed the video in the St. Patrick's Day post so yall can scroll down and see it now. Sorry bout that. Computer went nutty. No pics right now but I will have some more soon! We are off after nap to check out a bakery for Noah's birthday cake! His birthday is coming april 19th! :) HE WILL BE 2!!!! Can you believe it? Seems like he wont be a baby anymore then but he is still MY BABY!

We send you blessings and KISSES IN THE WIND!

McCutie

Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone! :) Being a family with a large amount of Irish in us we are big on St. Patrick's Day! :) We joked today that now that Noah was part of our family he was Irasian! :) heehee One thing for sure that he is, is a McCutie :) I love the little outfit I got him for today! :) We have all had our fill or our Irish meal today :) I made Corn Beef with potatoes, carrots and celery and our peanut butter sauce that goes with it and we had potatoe rolls! :) AFter supper some friends came by after Bobby had to go to work and we had chocolate cake adn strawberrry pie for dessert :) It was a yummy day though not good at all for the waist line. Here are some pictures and a video to share. Noah is hard hard to get pics of now! He will turn and you get an ear, the back of his head, or he just stares, but smile for camera NOPE. Noah has had a fussy day on and off as you can tell from the video, he laughs and he fusses. I have been told to try and get him to tell me in some way what he wants rather than just pick him up so you will see some of that in the video. He is such a funny little guy, I wish I could get that more on video but it is like he knows I am taping and does not want me to at times! Pray for Noah as he is having a rough night and was up about an hour after he went down and cried and cried and did not want to be rocked or anything and he pushed me away when I tried to rub his cheek which he usually likes. I am not sure if it is teeth or what. He has his first molars all comeing in but 2 are halfway through and the others have just broken through so maybe they are still hurting as they come more and more in. Poor guy. Also he was very burpy which is unusual for him. I did finally get him back down but I am worried about him :( Praying he feels better in the morning. We go to the skin doctor tomorow about his dry dry skin and rashes. anyway without further ado, pics and video below :)

Mr. McCutie aka Panda Boy! :) MY BABY BOY! What a face :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day! :) The banner hangin between dining area and living room! :)

lol, we are so into our tongue now! He will pull me to him to kiss me and kiss me ane then stick that tongue out! lol he is a character! :)

Here is our front glass door with shamrocks aplenty! :)

Naptime! :) Rocked to sleep with mama! :) I LOVE this time of day :)

This is Noah with his friend Samuel! Now this was a comedy me tryin to get a good picture of the 2 of them! THIS is the best and Noah's eyes look wonky! :) Half the time he was getting up during the shot! He did not want to sit and pose! lol

Jei Jei, Daddy and Noah! :) All in there green! :)

this is me trying to get a shot of the onsie shirt! :) The only way I could get him to be still and see what is said! :) He is layin on my legs in my lap in the recliner :) He was smiling so big RIGHT BEFORE and RIGHT AFTER the picture! ugggh!

Supper Table set! as you can see my 20 year old is dyslexic in alot of things! Look at the silver ware! No matter how many times I tell her how to do it she almost always does it backwards and then is like huh! lol

By the time we got the camera durin supper Noah was throwing an Irish/Asian FIT! Not sure exactly what set him off but he is furious with us because we won't let him throw the plate! He has tried just as Celeste ran to get the camera so she came back to this face! :( Tears my heart out to hear him cry but I just dont think I can approve of THROWING plates! It is his new thing! You never know when, sometimes its 2 seconds into a meal, sometimes midway, sometimes at the end but he is into throwing the plate and the bottle! Lotsa training ahead of me I think!

This is Noah with my friend Tina! It was so funny, He went up to her and reached for her which is not the norm for him, especially with someone he does not know well. He has not seen her in a good while so I was shocked! So she starts doing itsy bitsy spider with him and he gets this look like what have I done! heehee He wanted up there and then was not sure why! :) go figure!

Ok, so I tried all day to get him to wear this little hat I got him and before I could get a picture every time it was off, but then tonight after he was in jammas he starts hammin it up with the hat! :) it was really cute with the hat and his st. paddy's day outfit :)

So cute :)

Where's Noah! :) Its a bit big! :) heehee

Top of the mornin to ya! :)

Tipping head back to try and hold it on! :) heehee

This video is long and probably boring in parts! Noah signs a little in it which is great to get that on video :)

Panda Boy is growin so much! :)

Well, Panda Boy is growing so much! We were shopping today to try and find THE PERFECT Easter Outfit and I found it! The most adorable little suit. It was short with suspenders that are attached and they cross in back and come over the front and button at the front waist, a white shirt with peter pan collar and then jacket that matches the shorts. All Light blue pinstripe with a bow tie to match and knee socks! It was perfect. Well, I picked up the 12 months and I am thinking he has been growin I better get an 18 month. Well, they did not have an 18 month so I decided to try the 12 month one on him! IT WAS SO ADORABLE on him but it was too short in the stride so the little suspender strap things dug into his shoulders and I could not get it and have it be too tight in the stride so we left that outfit. It is SOOO hard to find cute boys dress clothes in this town! UGGGH :( I am so sad to have left that outfit but my baby boy is now for the most part I guess in an 18 month at least in that brand. He still has alot of 12 months clothes here at home that fit but in this case 12 months did not cut it! Noah is growing in more ways that just height! The other day we had our FIRST HAIRCUT WITHOUT TEARS! There is some video from midway on because Celeste was so shocked he was doin so well she ran and got the camera! When I have a chance to clip it I will post it. It is over 6 minutes long! :) I figured out how to cut his hair where he doesn't cry! It is kinda odd but he is stilling IN MY LAP while I am in my recliner with the legs up! :) heehee IT WORKS!!!! and if I can do it with no tears then that is less trauma on him and THAT MAKES ME HAPPY! I still think the haircut needs some work but he does look adorable! Luckily alot of the mistakes don't show too much in the pictures! :) Here are some pictures from the past few days :)

Is that not the most handsome Panda boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) I LOVE THAT FACE!

His grin is so big you can't see his little eyes! :)

aww mama's baby boy! :)

Grinnin away in our high chair after eating and making a nice mess! :) heehee

Rain Rain go away, Little Noah wants to play!

Another day same song! Panda Boy LOVES it outside and he LOVES to look out the window and the door! It is swamp cuz there has been so much rain!

My boy watchin American Idol with us! :) He is in his garden with his water! :) heehee

Noah went to our nephew's birthday party and the hat did NOT stay on long! We joked it was because he did not want to mess up his new hairdo! :) heehee

This shot of Noah and Daddy was just too adorable! :) I LOVED IT! :)
PRAY I can find an Easter Outfit in this town I like!
We send you blessings and KISSES in the wind!

Docs Offices and WONDERFUL NEWS!

I am so excited! I have been very upset because after having things all set up for Noah to begin speech and ot twice a week and pt once a month in addition to the special instructor he already had we found out that our insurance has a stupid loophole that made it impossible for Noah to receive these therapies. I have just been devastated and praying and just unsure what to do. I decided I would have to homeschool speech and research and all. Well, tonight Noah's special therapist from Early steps was here along with his family service coordinator and amazing and wonderful things came out of that appointment. Turns out when we began with early steps someone dropped the ball (and paperwork!) and we have been suppose to be having this family service coordinator contact us each month and all to see how things are going and what else Noah needs and to make sure we understand everything. Well, after 6 months of therapy it was finally discovered that the paperwork never got to the place for the FSP. So today we met her and she explained that Noah can have multiple therapy's as needed. So he can have speech without giving up his therapy with Maria (his special therapist) and without haveing to split the time. Anyway she is searching for a speech therapist to come out to our town but I said if you can't find one I will drive wherever I have to so he can have what he needs. The hope is to have it figured out so he can begin speech next week! :) Also he will have a special Occupational therapy about twice a month and continue with Maria 3 times a week. We meet again next month and at that time the speech person can say if he needs more days a week and that can be applied for. And also all the therapist and me will meet together and determine if there are any new areas we need to work on or new therapist we need to have. Basically they said he can have as many therapist as he needs as long as each one only comes once a week. Though if more than once a week is needed then she says they can get that approved too! but it is a process. I had no clue all this was available to Noah through Early Steps! :) GOD KNEW! :) I was literally in tears talking to them when I realized that these people wanted to really help Noah and this FSP lady was gonna get him all the services he needed! I am doing a happy dance now! :)

Today was a day filled with Doctors offices! Noah had a reacheck at pediatrician today and his sinus infection is worse with some blood in the drainage so he got another antibiotic shot for that but his lungs sounded "much less gunky" heehee I love his pediatrician! And he is right up the road in our little town so that is SOOOO nice :)

Celeste had a doctor's appointment this afternoon and so Noah and I took her to that! Below are some pictures from the day and at the bottom is a video of delerium that sets in when you are waiting in docs offices ALL DAY!

This little Kangaroo climber/slide is in the "sick room" waiting side. Friday when we were there Noah was too sick to care about playing but today he was feeling good enough to play! :) I would LOVE to have on of these! :) He had so much fun! Daddy had to help to keep us from fallin on our head!

Here we are comin down the slide. He would get about where he is in this picture and then try to stand and went tumbling a couple times. Daddy had to keep a hand on him to keep him from doin it!

We are in the room now and he is all into the books! look at that concentration!

Daddy is reading him a book

He is so funny trying to pick these up. He was grunting! LOL Been paying too good attention to us when we lift stuff! heehee

LOOK at that face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

TOO TOO CUTE!

Reading with Daddy!

This is so cute to me! He is lookin up at his daddy!

THIS is the first ever time Noah has gotten weighed without screaming! :) they have a big butterfly that hangs above and it flaps its wings, and there is kiddie stuff all over the scale and around it. :) Bobby called him and he looked at him but had been looking at the buttefly overhead! He weighs 25 pounds! He had on heavier clothes today so I guess that is the difference in weight from Friday. He is 34 inches tall! :) He has grown ALOT in height in the past 6 months!

The first part of the video was at the pediatrician, the rest was made in the waiting room at Celeste's doctors office! Noah had gotten the giggles for some reason so I started pullin the stroller down and up to play and join it :) It is so cute! He was tired of doc's offices and I guess delierious! :) heehee Poor guy jut a bit after the video ends he went from laughin to cryin and we are not sure why! He is such a fun little panda boy! :) Hope you enjoy!

6 Months...Half a Year! WOW!

SIX MONTHS! That is HALF A YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! Can you believe it? Sometimes I still can't believe that Noah is FINALLY here and then I look at the calendar and today March 8th marks SIX MONTHS since they placed that bundle of wondermous love into my arms! WOW O WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It overwhelms me that it has happend and I have my son! Six months seems huge to me! HALF a year! that sounds so long and yet at times it seems I just got him, other times it seems he has ALWAYS been here. Of course the 10 and half months we watched him grow in pictures he was in our hearts so really it is 16 and half months since we first laid eyes on that gorgeous creature! :) wow aint that a blip! Noah was 16 and a half months when we picked him up on Gotcha day! Also 6 months was the amount of time Noah was alive before we knew about him! we missed so much in that 6 months and even more so in the 16 and a half months of his life before he was in our home but oh my what Joy he has brought to us now that he is here! And what challenges! But oh how I love it! :) There were times I NEVER really thought this would happen and Noah would be home and I look back over it all and I am like HOW did this happen? HOW did we do that, actually LOOK HOW GOD DID THAT! Thank YOU JESUS for your divine intervention to bridge the ocean and bring our Noah home! My heart still so pulls toward adoption and I pray and wait and look forward to the day when God brings home all our children of our hearts, when we see faces with the names we have! This has been the most amazing experience of my life and I would do it again a million times over! I dont know when but GOD does! :) For now I just bask in the amazingness of the child of my heart...the dream fulfilled! The panda boy at the end of my rainbow! This child has a smile that lights up a room! What Joy he brings to my heart even during the saddest of times! It is so funny to me because during the wait to bring him home we clung to every photo, every word of an update and we dreamed about what it all meant, we dreamed about what is under those socks! What do those toes look like, what does his hair feel like? his skin? what does he smell like! All those things. I looked at those pictures and so wanted to just reach into them and pick him up! NOW I can pick him up whenever I want. I know what his skin feels like and I get to rub that boy down and try to soften that very skin! I get to run my fingers through that beautiful hair! I get to play this little piggy with those sweet little toes! WHAT AN HONOR! I get to feel those sweet tight arms around my neck! and no greater joy than to see him LIGHT UP with that smile at ME!!!! How many times did I smile at those pictures and now that boy is smiling at me!!!!! One of the most prescious things to me is Noah when he wakes up! I will pick him up out of the crib (if he is in crib, heeheee and if not my bed) and I hold him and he just fits right in my arms and that head snuggles against me and just fits by my neck and cheek. and he lays his sweet head on my shoulder and puts his arms around me and HE PATS ME! :) It is such an amazing feeling that tender little hand patting me! I am not really sure WHEN he started that but he does that EVERY time I pick him up when he wakes. Even if he is really fussy! He is such a love dove. Another thing he does that is so sweet is the other day I was crying tears and Noah was in my arms and he would take his finger and he would wipe the tear! 22 and a half months old, only with his family 6 months and he is wiping MY tears! Where did he learn to do that? So sweet. He will also pat on me and rub my face when he sees I am upset. It does not upset him and he does not react to it other than to reach out to me. I find that so interesting! I joke and say that THIS child is the one who is gonna take care of me in my old age! heehee There are so many amazing things about this boy and I do not want to take any of them for granted! There are so many things about Noah I still do NOT know, so much I may never know, so much I wish so badly I knew. I just look at him and so much is a mystery. I fill out forms at doctors and so much is blank or filled in unknown. Yup those parts make me sad that I dont know but it is such an amazing adventure that this wonderful soul that I took from everything he knows is allowing me to be a part of his world! Thank yall for allowing me to share all this. And thank you if you read this far! :)

I leave you with some pictures of the last 6 months! :)

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
