Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

FIRST POST Study Meeting CHECK!

It seems it has been no time since we were having Homestudy visists and such and here today January 31st at 1:30 pm we had our FIRST Adoption POST study Meeting! I am still a bit in shock that Noah has been HOME long enough for us to be at this point and at the same time it feels like he has always been here. I really had no clue that we would be having this meeting at 4 and half months home but in order for the Post study to be complete and then translated and at wonderful St. Lucy's Orphanage in time then it must happen now. So Bobby met Noah, Celeste and I over at our Home study agency and they got to see Mr. Noah for the first time. I was a bit nervous having never done a POST study before and worried because of the time it worked out it had to be. NAP time! I had so hoped at worst Noah would fall asleep and they just would not get to see him awake but he was awake the entire time but quite fussy on and off! They actually did not get to really meet NOAH! I so wanted this dear couple who had so much to do with us bringing this little one home to see his sweet smile and hear his darling laugh and his adorable personality but it was not to be. I mean he was not screaming by any means but he was just tired and cranky. Anyway, the visit went well and we talk a bit about how we need to do a recognition of adoption and not a readoption and that we would either do the filing on our own or have to hire a lawyer. Alot to research and pray over. Celeste took a picture of us with Margaret and Don who are our homestudy folks! :) The light was bad through the window and we were trying to get Noah to be happy and not succeeding so it is not a great picture but it is the picture of the first post study day! :) I am off to work on our CNY celebration. Check back soon for pics on that! I could NOT find envelopes because the few places that sell anything here were sold out so I am having to figure a way around that but somehow we will celebrate even if it is day 6 of CNY!

Bobby, Noah, Tami, Margaret and Don! Post Study 1 day!
We send you Blessings and Kisses in the Wind!

They will get their chance to see him smiley another time, don't worry about it. I'm just happy that he wasn't screaming, LOL!

Last year I had some trouble finding the red envelopes too, so I made them out of red construction paper. I bet you are pretty crafty and will come up with something exciting!
Have fun!!!

Congrats on getting through the first post placement visit. And, I sure hope Noah is feeling better and nothing serious. I sent you another e-mail so check your "bulk" or "spam" folder if you don't see it. It sounds like you've been super busy. Love and blessings to you all.

Glad everything turned out fine at the post placement visit. I was always so nervous at every post placement because you just want everything perfect. It is hard to believe that Noah has been home that long. Seems like just yesterday I was reading about your trip.

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
