Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Day 14 PICU (day 17 hospital

Today marks 2 weeks in Pediatric Intensive Care at the amazing Sutton's Children's Hospital!! Things are improving but Jeremiah is still a very sick baby! He is in critical condition but doing much better! Basically the procalcitonin is a level in the blood that is watched when someone with Sepsis. When Jeremiah was very first getting very sick his level was 500 times what someone with sepsis has so he basically had super, super sepsis!! Now it is down to only 4 times greater than normal sepsis. So a huge improvement but still much sicker than most people with sepsis. The double pneumonia is looking better as well!! His 2 chest tubes are draining and taking care of the 2 plueral effusioms. The doctor says he has been very sick for a long time and it is a miracle he lived as long as he did. They said it is possible the docs in Taiwan never tested for sepsis since it is not a standard thing you run unless youbare looking for it. Please keep praying for Jeremiah as he battels all of this infections. The goal is to try and start weaning him off the ventilator and see how it goes!!! Scary bit exciting too!!! Noah is an amazing big brother!! Inso wish I could figure out how to post pics from my phone !! Yesterday he stood on a stool and helps stimulate Jeremiah when we were trying to keep the blood pressure up! Got an adorable picture!!! Thank you all for followong along and praying and loving us so much fro
afar!! We know God is able so we are thrills to have so many storming Heaven for Jeremiah!! For those that have ask the name of hospital, room number, and address are posted above on th blog!! And yes he can get cards and care packages for those that asks about that :)

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
