Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone; but, still miraculously, my own.
Never forget, for a single minute you didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Happies and Happenings!

I wanted to share with y'all some pics of some Happies we have gotten in the mail and just some happenings here in our life with Noah! :) He is SUCH a blessing to my heart! He seems to have regressed this past couple days and is back to being a complete clinging vine. I can't put him down, even to walk beside me and hold my hand or anything today. He just melts into a fit on the floor. He totally freaks if I go an inch away from him, actually worse than when we first got him in taiwan. If anyone comes near me with him in my arms he cries and turns like they are monsters come to steal him. :( breaks my heart :( I got up earlier today after putting his coat on him and walked into my bedroom to get my keys and he ran after me SCREAMING at the top of his lungs arms in the air and this look of TERROR on his face. Like he was petrefied or something. very odd. Please pray for my sweet little man :( I dont want him to be so upset. I have gone back to holding him all the time and everywhere we go and all which is fine but it worries me that he had gotten where he liked to walk around some and now none. It woudl worry me he was in pain in his legs or something if not for the fits when folks come near us. Anyway, these pics are all from the weekend through monday.

Sunday afternoon we had an online Christmas party for a Secret Santa Swap we were apart of through FTP Radio that our friends Denise and Matt have some radio programs on. Each of us had a secret santa and was a secret santa for someone else. We all mailed out our gifties to each other well in advance so we would all have them for the party that took place in a chat room on FTP. We would lock the mike while we opened our gifts and everyone could hear us open and our reaction, then we would unlock and get to meet and talk to our people and such :) Here is Noah when my friend Matt was talking in an Elmo voice and telling Noah it was his turn to unwrap his gifty! :)

Isn't that adorable?? He began clapping! heehee :) that we dont have on film as we were too busy laughing! heehee

Here is Noah opening PART of his gifties from secret santa. This is a sweet puzzle with animals for our animal lover :) He really was spoiled in his gifties as he got multiple things including a stuffed panda , bear, Vtech helicopter, the puzzle, star shaped soap and bathtub soap dish! :) Noah has had such a blast with it all :)

As if that wasn't enough fun for early Christmas fun when the mail arrived Monday there was a boxed addressed to Mr. Noah Sisemore! :) heehee Mommy was as excited as noah! :) My friend Barb in Mississippi had sent along a happy for Noah as she calls it and some other happies for the rest of the family.

Here is Noah in my lap as we are getting into the box! Isnt he gorgeous???!!!

Here we are pulling out Noah's happy! A beautiful BIG quilt! :) Noah loved it and we proceeded to play a good round of "where's the baby" heehee :) Noah has this in his crib now. Barb is a very talented and generous friend! :) I can't imagine the time it took her to make this for my sweet baby boy! Here are some more pics of it including the inscription on it :)

This is the front. I love the beautiful Noah's ark!

on the back this square is there with the inscription of his name meaning and a verse to go with it! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! Such a prescious sweet touch! Noah is definitly my comfort. When I am upset just holding and snuggling him and smelling his sweet neck can make me feel so much better :) I wish I was better able to comfort him at times, though he prefers me over anyone at times I still feel like I dont know what he is trying to tell me and I dont comfort him. But it is getting better! I had to laugh at the rest part of his name! that must come later! heehee

This is on the front under the Noah's ark but I wanted to get it so you can read it! :)

Barb also put in the box a tote bag and an apron that say Mississippi! She lives there and knows I am from there and knew that would bless me! :) She also added some Christmas ornaments that I just ADORE! They are colorful balls with the names of Jesus on them!!!! I had a fit! :) Bobby put them up on the tree and as he was doing so he would let Noah hold each one and read it to him and tell him about it and then put it on the tree. Well, when he was doing that with the red one Noah decided that he was not taking that one from him to put on the tree and he took off with it! Luckily mama was sitting in her chair camera in hand! LOOK!

can you tell by the legs he is taking off with it!?!

Noah is good at running now! heehee Here is he taking off after the dogs! Poor doggies! He so luvs them and will try to pick them up. Celeste little pup is so tiny he can actually get it and pick it up, by the ear, by the arm, by the tail! we are constantly hollerin Noah no, gentle! lol I told Celeste she better watch that pup good. We dont want Noah to hurt it.

Wel after all the happy opening festivities were over we needed to get to haircuts! Bobby needed one for work. Now I go on record as I have many times before with saying I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT I AM DOING! but I try. heehee It had not occured to me all the new skills I would need to acquire upon adopting my sweet son! :)

Likd learning to cut daddy's hair ONE HANDED! heehee Look how he is watching! He insisted on being in my lap and when I had to take my other arm from around him he started crying so much :( poor guy.

see him justa hollerin cuz I need both my hands :( so now I have to learn to cut with hollerin goin on! lotsa new things! heehee

Well, after daddy I decided to cut Noah's hair. When we took him last time I was not happy and thought I can do that bad myself! at least I listen to myself. Noah likes for me to run my fingers through his hair on top so I decided he needed to keep his length on top but we were gonna cut the back and sides short. Now again remember I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING!!!!! So I totally messed up the sides. the back is not too bad except around the neck. Part of the problem is I dont have enough guards. I have a few but they are way different sizes so when I needed one size up form what I had used so I could blend I did not have it. Its a good excuse anyway! heehee

WARNING :( these are sad to look at as he was NOT happy! Funny thing is he his NOT crying cuz I am cutting his hair, but because I put him down! lol

My poor baby boy!

Jei Jei was so sweet to help hold him and Daddy was photographer :)
Ok, safe in mama's arms!

LOOK at that face!!! HOW did I get so lucky to get such an amazing baby!??????? His face just radiates light and joy! do you see it?? He is my panda boy! :) the cut again makes him look older which I hate but at least it is neat though with my mess ups on the side and the neck it not as it shoudl be :( I may pull the cutters back out and try and fix it soon! or maybe leave bad enough alone LOL
After the haircutting Noah had his special therapist come over. She is a play therapist and main focus is to be language but also to address all his delays. right now she is mainly working on building relationship so she can get him to work with her. Celeste was home for this session and able to take some pics for me! Maria brought BUBBLES!!!!! Noah's firt time ever to see bubbles! :)

He is totally enthralled in this picture! so sweet :)
Now he is into the game and he is holdin the wand!!!

Look at him concentrate!! :) heehee

Maria gets a hug! YIPEEEE! :) so sweet :) I am so blessed to have Maria come out to work with us! She is a doll!!!! :)
Well, I best sleep before he is up!
WE send you blessings and kisses in the wind!

The Party Animal and the Lockin and lookin back!

Last night was our Annual Christmas Lockin at our home and this years Chrismas one was for the little Girls in our Children's Ministry! :) This year was QUITE a bit different that previous years have been! First of all we had much fewer girls than we have ever had before, and also there was another male there besides Bobby! :) heehee Noah was there exuding his joy to one and all!!!! :) I just love looking through the pictures and my baby running through them! :) He decided that it was a baby boy lock in as well and that he planned to join in on a good bit of things! :) The girls always do a pajama modeling and not to be outdown on center stage Noah got the Christmas Tie Bobby had been wearing around and was modeling with it! It was quite adorable though short lived because Mama could not risk him harming himself with the tie around the neck! But of course had to get some pics first!!! :) he tried to join in on alot of the games :) He ended up napping late for his afternoon nap and went down at 2 and slept till 5 so I was pretty confident he would be able to enjoy some of the festivities before he got cranky and tired and I would let him stay up as late as he could and be happy so that just maybe after all girls were picked up at 8 he might sleep later and I could catch an hour or so! Well, he loved the whole thing and was QUITE the night owl!!! :) Here are some pictures to share

Here is our sweet little group of girls!!! :) They are striking a pose! :) heehee

We had Noah bring a gift for the gift exchange game! :) We wanted to include him as much as possible! :) Here he is during that game as we open a gift!

MY BABIES!!!! :) I just love this picture! If any of us sits on the floor Noah thinks it is with the express purpose for him to sit ON us! :) heehee and if we lay on the floor that purpose if for him to CLIMB on us! heeheee

Here is the party Animal! this picture was taken at 2:30 AM!!!!! Can you believe it? He never did get fussy. He does NOT like to go to sleep with others around and so I decided not to press the issue unless he was just cranky and I had to put him down. Awhile after this he climbed up in my lap again to rock rock with the blanket and began this battle of keeping the eyes open. Sleep won over at 5 minutes of 3 in the morning! :) I was able to lay him in his crib and he did not even wake up or fuss or anything!!!

Another shot of the Party Animal at 2:30 am!!! :)

We played a game with the girls called pigs in a blanket where they had to get under a blanket and then one child was the farmer who came and would sit/touch the child under the blanket and all they can do is OINK and the farmer has to guess who is under the blanket. Well, NOAH decided HE was playing and got his blanket and headed for the floor!!! :) heehee

of course he could not stay under long :) Isnt that face adorable!!! :)

Here he is thinking HE should be the farmer and he is tryin to find Tori under the blanket! heehee

Here he is with his tie modeling!!! :)

We always have a birthday cake for Jesus and sing Happy Birthday at our Christmas lockin each year whether it is the girls turn or the boys turn to do Christmas! :) Here is a shot of the girls singing and getting ready to blow out Jesus candles! :) Daddy has Noah away from the lit candles! It was a wonderful night and I kinda liked the smaller group because I just felt like it was more personal with the girls! I definitly think Noah did better than he would have done if we had a larger group or if any of the girls who these 7 had invited had been able to come. he knows all these girls from Church and Lagniappe so he was comforable! Stay tuned till January for the Boys Be on God's Team Lockin!!! :) It is usually in February to coincide with super bowl but one of our little boys is moving Feb 1st so we will have it early so he can be there! :) It should be a group this small or maybe smaller unless we add some before then! :)

I also thought I would share with you our stockings hung by the Chimmney with care!!! :)

This is ALL our stockings! Nanny, Grandma, Mommy, Daddy, Celeste and Noah!!

This is a close up of just Celeste and Noah's!

Noah in the 3 months since he came home has fallen in LOVE with Elmo from Sesame Street! I did not expect a 16 month old to watch Tv when we brought him home so I was kinda shocked when I he seemed to be intrigued by the tv even in the hotel room in Taiwan! I thought man he is lookin at it so hard like tryin to figure out "how'd they get in there?" heeheee still I did not think to show him children's tv because he was a baby. About a week after he came home I was babysitting my friend Liane's son Samuel who is 2 and a half and loves children's tv of all kind and so I put Sesame Street on for him. EVERY time Elmo came on screen Noah would RUN to tv and be glued! I decided it might be good for him to hear the talking and the english so now Noah watches Sesame Street EVERY week day! He doesnt "watch" it all but will play during lots of it but if Elmo is on he is usually watching! He likes big bird too but Elmo is the bomb! heehee Also the past month or so I have noticed if we are in the store and he sees ANYTHING Elmo he grabs for it and especially if it talks he recognizes the voice. He adores the new Elmo Live at the store every time and will hug it! heehee So one day we are in Big Lots and I see this Elmo STocking that sings! Mental note to self GET THIS THING ASAP. So the next payday I flew up there to make sure I got him one! :) Here is what it does!! For some reason the video insists on loading sideways :( uggh so lay your head down to as you watch! heehee

And lastly I wanted to share these pictures with you! My friend Judy shared pictures of her William last year at St. Lucy's Center that were taken today so it sparked me to check and see if Noah's were taken on Dec. 13th too and they were! IF I had realized that sooner we would have made plans to have Santa Pics done today! I believe from now on that will be a Dec. 13th event in honor of his first Santa Pics at St. Lucy's Center! What a sweet sweet thing for them to do by taking these pictures so that someday these babies families would have them and in years to come the babies themselves and their children!

Here he is! Dec 13, 2007! Noah's FIRST ever Christmas Picture! do you see the tiny toes at the bottom! I wish I had seen these at the time! It was much later before I ever saw his toes! I remember each picture and being like UGGGH I want to see his feet and toes! heehee I bought a baby's first Christmas 2007 ornament and it has a place for a picture so THIS picture is going in it and it will hang on our tree EVERY year!

Here is another shot of that day! My baby boy is looking up! :) So so sweet! :) It was sooo hard last year and ALL I wanted for Christmas was NOAH! :) THIS YEAR I HAVE HIM!!! How I wish I could have held that tiny Noah in my arms but I thank God for the Nannies and folks at St. Lucy's Center who DID hold him in there arms when they could!

Overwhelming!

Tonight I come to the blog to post about Overwhelming! That is such a word for me right now in my life with Noah! I am OVERWHELMED with gratitude to the Lord for this amazing gift of a child that He has blessed me with first and foremost! WOW! It just about knocks me over with how big that is, that God can chose a child a world away, chose a family with a mom who has NEVER been on a plane and is PETREFIED of flying and bridge an ocean to bring them together! WOW! MY GOD IS ABLE! I have another thing tonight that I am overwhelmed with and I dont even know the word for it. Noah was playing on the floor about a foot or so from me as was here on the computer as I was working on things for the girls lockin we are hosting tomorow night at our home for our Children's Church Girls. Well, he hurt himself somehow and began crying and came running to me! Now first off I am overwhelmed with how amazing it feels to me that my baby boy runs TO ME when he is hurt or scared! That is such an awesome feeling that he knows Mama is here and wants nothing more than to make it all better! For a long time after we came home if Noah was hurt he did not react at all. Then he got where he cried and just sat or laid there or threw himself down where he was. NOW, he runs to ME! :) Kinda of like our relationship with the Heavenly Father!! When we are hurt what do we do? do we run to Him? or do we flop where we are in tears and wait for Him to come to us. I guess the closer we get in our walk with God the easier it is to run to HIM and I guess that is happening with Noah! Anyway, Noah comes to me and I pick him up and he snuggles into my neck and lays his head on my shoulder and lets me love on him. He is crying. I am asking him what happend to my baby. What hurts. Noah is crying and in a bit of loving on him he calms down. I am still as mama trying to find out what happened. What hurts. He was not able to tell me. I became soo overwhelmed during this time with Noah! I began crying. Now not crying where I am making all this noise and all but just tears streaming down my face. It made me so sad that Noah can not tell me what hurts, what he wants, what he needs. I have been around several other children around his age and younger the past week or so and I watch them talk to there mom and dad and it makes me sad Noah can't do that. Now PLEASE dont' get me wrong! I accept Noah as he is! If he never speaks more than babbles then that is who he is and it is fine! BUT tonight it just so overwhelmed me and saddened me that he can't comminicate that to me. We are working on baby sign with him and he has learned eat and sort of more but he uses it more for yes than more. but it is a start. He seems to have a hard time and there are alot of signs I still don't know and need to find out asap. But just looking at him tonight long after whatever was hurt was feeling better and his tears had stopped it just hit me with an overwhelming force what it is gonna be like for him and me if he never is able to talk. I believe he will talk more than he does now. I am fine with it if he doesn't as far as loving him and all but it will sadden me so much and not just for me, but for him! I know how frustrated I tend to get when I try to explain something to someone and can't get the right words or get them to understand what I mean so I am sure it is frustrating for Noah and will get more so. I doubt this post is making any since at all but I just felt like I needed to share this with all y'all who love us and support us on this journey of life with Noah. The unknowness of his future overwhelms me as well. BUT, I do KNOW the One who does KNOW what Noah's future holds so that is really good!

well I will close for now. thanks for listening guys and please be in prayer for my sweet little guy! It is rather frightening to me to not know what he wants or needs. Just like with a younger baby who can't talk yet except that panda boy is much more active and mobile! LOL He has been called octopus boy a couple times too because he MUST have 8 hands! LOL

WE send you blessings and kisses in the wind!

3 Months! WOW!

Three Months ago today the wonderful Nanny at St. Lucy's Center in Taiwan placed the most prescious Panda Boy into my arms! 3 months ago today a fulfillment of a dream FINALLY happend! 3 months ago today God gave me the child of my heart! The promised son! :) WOW! It is hard to believe it has been 3 months and then at other times it is amazing to think that we have not always had this wonderful little man! :) Today I had to go to the dentist and have a tooth extracted which was absolutely NO FUN. Bobby was there with me having to juggle Noah and my friends son Samuel and one scared and in PAIN wife. Noah is so my baby boy! He hates to be away from me, even in the next room and so a good portion of the time at the dentist Noah was in my arms, even in the dentist chair! I LOVE that he wants to be with me, though I do feel guilty sometimes that he doesn't want others more, though he will play with them as long as I am close by most times. When he is tired or not feelin well it is only Mommy! He got sleepy durin the time of my appointment and would not settle down for bobby so while they dentist was waiting for the numbing to take effect Noah laid on me in the chair and went to sleep. I so wish that I was not in so much pain and had thought to have bobby take a picture! I know it had to be adorable! Noah's special therapist came tonight and he had a very good session with her after some issues at first! He is opening up a bit and actually hugged her! :) It was so sweet! :) We discussed his chronologic age and the fact that he is quite delayed and all but that she felt that he will be on target by 3 years old! If that is so that is amazing and wonderful, if not that is fine too. As long as we give him every opportunity to be the best he can be is all that matters to me. He so amazes me each day and I can't even begin to express the joy Noah has brought to my heart! Sometimes I so worry that I am not being the mom he deserves and I try harder. Bobby told me he heard somewhere the best parents are those who try! Well, that I do! I still stand in amazement that they gave me this wonderful creature. That St. Lucy Center, Heartsent, Taiwan Judges, Ait, USCIS, and most importantly GOD trusted me with this prescious child! I am blessed beyond measure. I am so overwhelmed at where I sit as this Christmas season begins compared to where I sat last year. Little did I know last Christmas how LONG a wait I still had for my baby but PRAISE GOD this Christmas season I spend at home WITH my baby! Instead of gazing upon update photos, I now gaze upon the face of my son! I now send the update photos to others! :) I LOVE IT! Today I was blessed to send out a thank you note to some folks who made one of our grants happen! I can't tell you how overwhelmed with gratitude and just pure joy I am when I think of what their selfless gift has meant to us and to Noah! He has a FOREVER HOME and we have FOREVER SON thanks to their generosity! Not everyone may feel called to bring an orphan into their home but PLEASE PLEASE do pray about helping someone else bring one into theirs! I know that Noah was in an AMAZING loving orphanage but I also know that he is much better off with his own family! Without the help of the grants, donations and such we received to go along with our fundraising we would not have Noah! The title of our blog is TillGodbringsTHEMhome! We do know that someday God will bless us with more children and we wait in faith for Him to show us when and where and we KNOW in our hearts that their will be other miracles waiting to bring those children home too. As we wait and raise this wonderful child we are still trying to do our part to help other orphans come home be it very small in comparison to what has been done for us. Please check out the sidebar to help out a friend in her giftcard fundraiser. Also if you are interested in a rag doll from your child's birth country made by an adopting family raising funds, please let me know and I can connect you with the lady who is making them! :) Noah's is on the way here for a christmas gift.

Well, I LOVE to gaze at my baby boy's face so just in case you do too , here are some pics! :) Happy 3 months in our arms baby boy!

Noah loves the phone! :) here is talkin on it! heehee

Here he is handin the phone to me to talk a minute! :)

Is he not th emost beautiful thing! :) He is concentrating on the phone and pushin buttons here! :)

I just LOVE to look at that face! :)
I guess this could be titled SELF photo! lol Noah had grabbed the camera and here is what he shot! :) heehee

Deck the Halls...

We were finally able to put the Christmas Tree up today! I am dealing with some bad teeth and some painful TMJ it is suspected so I basically was put in the recliner to watch and photograph! :) Also I have a few pictures from the past few days! I have been blessed with quite a few hand me down Christmas Outfits so I am having a BLAST dressing Noah each day. I will just wash and start over! :) They can only wear Christmas outfits for such a short time so I want him to get use out of them! :) Anyway here is the beginning of our Deck the Halls!

Look at that boy! Grinnin back at me over his daddy's shoulder! It was so sweet how Bobby and Celeste had Noah helpin them the whole time! :)

Noah thought the lights went on HIM and not the tree! heehee

I just bawled during this part! Here is Noah putting the FIRST ornament on the tree! This is the little homemade Baby's first Christmas ornament I made him last year using and update photo! It hung on our tree last year WAITING for Noah to be home! This year HE HUNG IT HIMSELF!!!! :) So adorable!

Here is the ornament!

Here is Celeste (Jei Jei) pretending to EAT her Baby's first Christmas ornmanet! heehee

Here is our first panda boy ornament! My friend Liane gave this sweet gift to us the other day! :) Panda Boy has to have a panda ornament collection! :)

I just loved this shot! Even though it is the back of Noah It is just so sweet. Everyone workin on the tree and him looking along!

I loved this shot too! The boys are concentrating on fixin that ornament!

More helpin Daddy with the tree! :)

Again I bawled! Noah putting the star on top of the tree! :)

The Sisemore Family Christmas Tree!

With the lights out in the room!

On the 3rd of the month my mom gets a check and so on the 4th is her day for me to take her runnin errands and all she needs done. Well, being Christmas is coming this particular 4th was quite long. We are in Walmart and Noah is riding in the cart and was fussy so I went ahead and gave him his bottle in the buggy! Well, he drinks it up and then lays his head down on my hand on the bubby! :) I had to slide it out real easy so I could grab the camera and get these shots!!

Isn't he the MOST beautiful thing????
aww weee! My sweet baby boy!

He thinks he is big sitting in my rocker recliner! :)
sooo cute! :) again the recliner :) rock rock!
My sister in law is the one who gave me most of the little Christmas outfits that her boys had worn. Well one year her 2 middle boys wore the same size so she had 2 Christmas outfits that were identical! When I realized this I had to give one to Cassie for Caleb! our PLAN was to get pics of Noah and Caleb together in the outfits. Well, as you can see Noah wanted no part of me putting him down under the tree!
You can see them both in the outfits but not at all what we PLANNED! heehee
Now he has his mama back he is happy again! :)

This is the sweetest picture of Celeste and Noah! neither is smiling as you can see but for some reason I just really love this picture!
We have more deck the halling to do yet so more pictures will be coming! :) I pray this Chrimas Season finds you all well and reflecting on the wonderful gift of a savior our Heavenly Father gave to us!
WE send you blessings and Kisses in the Wind!

Kisses in the Wind

KISSES IN THE WIND
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.

I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.

Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.

Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend. But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.

May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I sent to you each night.

When Love Takes You In!
